I've been using these technicians for 5 years and am always satisfied.

It went well in spite of my confusion with the time of the appointment.

Jared came the week before to look at my computer and diagnosed a power start mechanism failure. It would cost almost as much to repair as to buy a new computer, so I bought a new one. On the 14th, Jared installed a wireless router, set up my new computer, printer, backup, transferred data from the backup and moved all data into a restore folder. He made sure that everything worked properly and taught me what I needed to know to use Windows 8. He also set up Windows 8 so that it performs in the way that my old Windows 7 performed. I am very happy and highly recommend Jared.

Horribly frustrating!

My computer crashed and while I could see the data I was unable to retrieve it. Salem
geeks loaded up the hard drives and copied it all off. I was up and running with the data on another computer the next day. They tried to rebuild my 8 year old lap top but it was also having motherboard issues. Then we discussed options for a new one. They did a professional job.

Actually it was a friend I sent to Salem Geeks. She was thrilled with my recommendation since the other estimate to fix her laptop was $200.
I used Salem Geeks before I retired to handle repair jobs that due to their familiarity with the problems they could fix in a fraction of the time I could. They were always inexpensive. I convinced coworkers who were loyal to Atwin Computer Service (another good company but an additional 30 minutes from work) but to start using them when we had problems finding parts for Gateway laptops and they and Atwin were only in Salem that could get the parts. They have always been happy with the service.

They were fine and very good. I would use them again in the future.

It went very well. I'm pleased as usual with the quality of the work that Jared does and also respect his personal qualities. A fine business and good people running it.

Also, I had a $15 coupon which Jared applied to the normal house call rate.

I took the computer into their shope. They served me quickly, listened to my description of the problem agreed to work on the computer, had me pick it up in 2 business days . The computer has functioned normaly since that time.

I called on 6/3. An appointment was made for the morning of 6/4. All was done promptly, courteously and well.
