The day the work was scheduled to be done the original start time was supposed to be 8AM due other jobs and worker issues it ended up starting at 1PM. Work was finished around 5PM. We let the texture and patch dry a few days before noticing that the patch was very noticeable with large well defined humps at all of the seams. We called and Kurt came to investigate and he was not happy either. We scheduled the rework and the second time around the patch is not noticeable at all. It would have been nice to have it done in one visit but in the end it worked out OK.

Took greater than a month to complete and poor quality work . Nail bumps with visual seams Nonprofessional workers with drug paraphernalia left in the house.

Kurt was out quickly to assess the job and provide me with a very reasonable estimate. The work was scheduled and and was completed in a timely manner. Kurt and his workers , Billy and Ben were extremely professional and friendly. The room looks great and all was cleaned up after the job was over.

It was a awesome experience Chris and his crew were very professional and proficient in their trade. Everything went very well from the time I called for a bid price to completion.

Salem Drywall did excellent work, and did exactly as the contract specified. They really know how to texture and blend existing walls to new walls. They cleaned up after their work, were professional, kind, and smiling people. We would definitely work with them again.

I will recommend this company to anyone who asks!  Francisco was a wonderful employee who took such detail in making sure the job was perfect.  Kyle, the owner, was not only always pleasant, but I found him to be such an honest man and sincere in wanting to be sure my experience was perfect in every way.

Francisco (worker) came within a day or two of my calling.  Set to work immediately to see how much damage had been done in this dark closet area where we typically could not see. 

Francisco and I decided on how much sheetrock needed to be removed.  Once he began removing it, we found that there was an active leak in the roof which had dripped down and damaged wood in the ceiling.  We then decided to not replace the sheetrock until the roofers and contractors came so they could visually see the damage we had found. 

Anyway, the roofing company could not respond for repair for a week due to the heavy winds and rain.  I called Salem Drywall immediately after the repairs were completed (almost 2 weeks later) and he assigned Francisco to return and finish the job.  Francisco did an immaculate job.  I was so pleased!

Yet, I was also pleased with Kyle, the owner.  He had given me an estimate at the beginning of the job.   He called and explained that when giving the estimate he had not anticipated there was so much damage - nor had he anticipated that the job would be started and then put off for a couple of weeks - taking more set up time.  HOWEVER, he said straight out that he was not going to charge me more as he wanted to be a man of his word.  He just wanted me to know that the job had taken more than originally planned.  He was so kind.  I told him I had already given it thought and had already decided to pay more.  He left it up to me.   

The men did a great job of removing the soffit framing and putting up new drywall in its place. They also drywalled parts of the ceiling where we had some existing lights removed. The ceiling needed brocade texture following the drywall repair, and it turned out beautifully, a fantastic match. There was a need to replace some trim following the drywall completion which required some finesse. They were intent on completing the project to our satisfaction. This company showed great pride in their work. Their communication was prompt and clear. We were completely satisfied with the work and professionalism of Salem Drywall, Inc. We would definitely use them again, and we have no reservation in recommending them to anyone needing remodeling work.

Everything has gone well and continues to go smooth and fast. They are currently helping us pick out inside doors and kitchen cabinets and flooring and tile for both the kitchen and bathroom, we have lots more to do but they take all the hard work out of the decision making. The things we have to worry about are what color do we want this and that.

Estimates were accurate and there were no cost over runs.
Work was professionally done and materials used were as requested. 
Office staff kept us informed of scheduling of work.
Great care was taking in protection of floor services, and exterior walls during entire renovation.
Staff and owner were responsive and thorough.
cost was in line with other estimates and previous experience - but the hassle was way less.
