When they came out for a site survey they were polite and seemed knowledgeable. They took measurements, looked at the door and I told them we were replacing the door knob with told one. There was no questions or advise to replace the door knob and dead bolt. The day of the project they were late to the jobsite by three hours. They said they had truck problems but could not verify that. Work was done as requested. They did not have all the supplies to install a door. They did not have enough shims or 2x4 to support the door when it was open before it was secure. I had to supply that. When it came to reinstalling the old door knob and dead bolt, they had to call someone in to help and I had to come out and try to help them as well. I realized that the old door handle was not going to fit in the new door correctly, which I thought that someone who has done this before would have noticed, so I just said go buy a new door handle pack and put it in. When the project was done, the construction waste was left for me to clean up. When asked if they were cleaning that up they said "We don't do that." So I was left cleaning up the waste. It took me about a half an hour to clean it up but now my trash can is full and have to wait three days till I can take trash out. Not sure if I will be charged for construction waste or not, we will see. When I hired them, I assumed that every contractor would leave the jobsite as close to what they got it. I guess I was wrong.
