Description of Work: I have a very steep pitched roof that had been collecting moss for over a decade. In some places the moss was so thick it looked like carpet and you could not see the roof at all. I have a composite roof so you have to be very careful not to damage the material when removing the moss. I also had to have all of my gutters cleaned out and some of them were 20 feet high.

Description of Work: The roof is very pretty. It does not leak. Anywhere. My insurance provider was impressed with the job and came out to take pictures of it today, 11/3/12. During the job, Mr. Quintana found rotting wood around the small chimney stove pipe and fixed it with minimal additional charge. Quintana Roofing did a wonderful job on my roof. His company is honorable and hard-working, keeps its commitments, charges a fair price for the work and the work is done on time with great quality. Nery, his daughter is a very good representative of Quintana Roofing Company, has good communication skills, a friendly personality, easy to deal with and highly professional. She even met me at a wood workers shop to compare the color of the roofing material to the brand new door I put on my house! I will also say he does extra. I noticed he re-roofed the little cover to my underground entrance around the corner! I never asked him to do that! He just did it! It now matches the roof! Who knew?! I was tickled! See? It's the little extras that make you want to re-hire...:) I"d re-hire Mr. Quintana in a heartbeat! If you want a great roofing job, done right the first time, by dependable, professionals, who are not afraid of hard work, pick up after themselves to leave a clean yard, know they will go the extra mile to make you happy and satisfied with the job.

Description of Work: Based on your rating, I hired Mr. Quintana to remove the moss from the North side of my roof. He responded to my call and was here the next day . He uses a plastic spatula type tool to remove every clump of moss. He treated the roof against regrowth and guarantees it for 3 years. He then cleaned the gutters, installed new seals around several vents, snd cleaned up such that you wouldn't even know he had been here. Mr. Quintana is quiet, courteous to a fault and professional. I will hire him again for any work on my roof.

Description of Work: Fidel Quintana was very professional! He came out to provide an estimate and then emailed us a bid and was the most reasonable. We called him back and he was out the following week to do the job!He works alone and is incredibly good at what he does. It threatened to rain during the roof job and he was very conscientious about covering the existing roof with tarps to prevent any leaks or damage.He works hard and efficiently and we couldn't be more pleased with the results!The project only took him 4-5 days to complete and he cleaned up daily before he left.Fidel, his son and his daughter were very nice to deal with.

An old chimney no longer in use was removed and plywood installed to cover the hole before the shingles were applied. I called Quintana Roofing 01/25/2012 after reading reviews on Angie's List, Mr. Quintana came to do the estimate within an hour of my call. He gave me an estimate of 550 for gutter cleaning, roof cleaning and moss removal treatment/prevention as well as removing and replacing shingles on the facade of garage. The repair of the garage roof will have to wait til warmer/dryer weather, however when Mr Quintana replaced the decades old facade shingles and repaired and sealed the top trim plate, it took care of water leaks that were coming in around the walls of garage. Mr. Quintana came and began the work 01/27/12 as scheduled and completed it on Sat. 01/28/12 and cleaned up each day after the work.

Description of Work: We requested bids from three Angie's List providers for serious roof moss removal and Fidel Quintana was the lowest, but we've never regretted accepting his bid. He arrived 40 minutes early and proceeded to to work vigorously, taking two minimal breaks for water - it was a hot day! He scraped moss roots with a hand tool, not power spray, which is susceptible to lifting roof tiles, and applied the prescribed chemical treatment to the tiles. He noted severe moss intrusion into two of our roof vent chimney flashings and informed us with photos taken on site, recommending replacement. We accepted his opinion and he replaced both fixtures for which he charged us only $40.00 over bid. The end result was so impressive that our next door neighbor accepted his bid for a new roof, which was finished on time, with equally impressive results. Other neighbors commented on his work ethic, unhesitating to work 12-hour days. Mr. Quintana's English is heavily accented, so phone conversations should accepted accordingly. His cheerful disposition only enhances his appeal, with professionalism to match.
