Fantastic, I just read the complaint on their training. I am a professional man tracker / K9 Trainer as well as a SEARCH AND RESCUE K9 Handler Retired. I have bought, trained, and kenneled my animals at Pet Village with no complaints. I have never seen a dog treated in the manner that was stated by a person giving this company a F rating unless the dog was out of control because the handler / owner had no clue. They do not use chokes at Pet Village, they use Pinch Collars and never in my 20 years going to Pet Village have I seen any animal mis -treated in any way. In fact I would say the family has a solid history in Professional and Obedience Dog Training that is unmatched here in the Northwest United States, and remember I am a professional dog trainer / handler and I use them.

You can read above. I rushed my dogs out of there and straight to the veterinarian. Thank-you for that Pet Village. They returned my money for the kennel stay but never paid for the vet visit which they should have.

We have only used them twice, but they have been good. We were real happy with them. They were willing to put the dogs sort of in a special area to accommodate our particular dogs better. So there was less stimulation. Instead of one in the middle run, they were able to put them on the side run. The dogs were happy when they came home. I can see that they had been well cared for. We were just real happy. We would definitely use them again. We have used them again. The price was okay.

I needed to board my dog Oliver. He is a very large standard poodle. He is used to a lot of attention. Luckily at Pet Village you can schedule playtime. They are a full service salon so I had my dog groomed too. They give you the option of their food or your own. They also will give a prescription if needed. When I picked up my dog he was happy healthy and clean. He wasn't stressed at all. I will definitely use them again!!

I really enjoyed this class and my two dogs seemed to enjoy it too. I think it has improved their confidence and self esteem overall. In addition to learning to heal, come, sit, stay, stand, and to lie down, it has improved their obedience in other areas at home too. They are better about not jumping up on me when I come home, not pulling on the leash when going for a walk, and to quit barking when commanded to. It has helped my relationship with my dogs as well. I was not sure I was going to be able to keep one dog, a recent addition to the family, due to some behavior problems. Now he will remain part of the family as his behavior has improved greatly.
The environment where the class is taught is a large metal barn-like building with plenty of floor space for walking the dogs around. It is professional and well covered from the wind and the rain.

Overall horrible service.
Waited for a long time to get help just to pay and pick her up
1. She was brought to me soaking wet
2. She was bleeding from a torn nail
3. She was shaking and scared to death
4. Dogs all around the lobby area barking. They could have put her in the carrier away from the lobby area.

It went well. I don't know how I would feel if my dog were a smaller dog or a scared dog. They often have a lot of dogs there, but each dog has it's own and quot;kenneland quot;, which was perfect for my dog who often doesn't get along with other dogs.

I have been using them for about 20 years. The dog returns home after being well taken care of. They do groom your dog as well and tender customized care. They also feed the dog according to my instructions; like if I want them to feed him twice or thrice instead of once a day.

We were not really happy with this kennel. It was just okay but not really what we were looking for. They weren't bad, but just okay. They were really friendly but the dogs seemed extremely stressed when we picked them up. They do not normally act that way when we pick them up from a boarding place.

When I arrived Sunday morning at 9:45am to pick both dogs up, the desk attendant could not "find" them in the computer...they had not been entered the day before apparently when our friends dropped both dogs off..we share "dog sitting" frequently...but could not Saturday night and neither of us were home that night..so decided to board the two dogs together...mine is very anxious because she was a stray from shelter four years ago and she is comforted by being with her companion. The attendant handled the dogs well...once she could went to get them...which she simply had to go back and look for "two big black dogs" in kennel together. There was alot of barking in the runs and our dogs had not been fed...even though it was mid morning...so have no idea what happened to them the previous approx 18 hours...were they fed at night, did they have water...were the instructions to seperate them at feeding time followed...the younger dog out eas the older...and if together only one would eat all the food? I will not take my dog back...the nieghbor who made the arrangements and had first contact was not very satisfied with the follow up phone call.

"First of all let me say that neither person contacted management or requested management to talk with them about the issues they had at our facility. When the two dogs were checked in one was scheduled for a bath, and at the time of check in it automatically generates a report for the kennel staff for feeding, and any special instructions, which was done, and then generates a second report for the bath. The problem came when one of them called back and changed the check-in by requesting that the bath be deleted. The employee hit the wrong button on the computer and the name was taken out of the computer, although the feeding instructions were still there because the report had already been generated. The dogs were fed according to the instructions that were given. Water is left with all dogs 24 hours a day and is constantly checked throughout the day. When the owners came the attendant knew exactly where the dogs were and the care that had been given to them. The only issue was the name of the owners had been deleted when they called back in to delete the bath. That was the only error the employee made! They complained about the barking in the kennel which happens every time a dog is taken in our out of the kennel, some of the other dogs bark at them through the fence which is normal in any kennel. We had 60 dogs in there when they checked out so I am sure that there was some noise, but again that is normal. Why they would not call and contact management prior to issuing a complaint completely astounds me! It also astounds me, why they would insinuate that we did not give their dog’s food or water! We have many employees that work there during the day and each employee is assigned a certain area to clean, feed, and check the animals. All of this could have been avoided if they had just contacted management and we would have been able to explain the issue, and given them a tour of the facility so they could see for themselves the operation. We have been in business at that same location with the same family running it since 1974. The last thing I want to mention is that everyone that works in a kennel does not work there for the money, but for the love of the dogs!"
