Northwest Professional Roofing

This was my first bid out of five total bids received from other companies. NW Professional came out to do the estimate within 24 hours, and left the bid inside my screen door so I didn't have to wait for the mail. A few other companies took over a week to get me their bid, or didn't call back at all. NW Professional came in at the lowest cost initially, but other roofing companies did agree to meet my lowest bid. However, I chose NW Professional because after looking them up on Angie's List, calling the Better Business Bureau, and looking at other reviews online, I was impressed with their A+ rating as compared to other Salem, OR based roofers. Plus they offered a $100 coupon off a full roof replacement here on Angie's list. Jeff (and Isaac) at NW Professional was very courteous, friendly, and patient with all my questions. When I asked for his opinion to help me make decisions about color, style, what was beneficial and what wasn't so necessary, he was very forthcoming and helpful. They provided me with addresses so I could drive over to other homes they had roofed and check out their work. They also tarped my leaking roof free of charge, on a weekend nonetheless, to hold me over until their scheduled roofing date, and replaced some water damaged plywood, also free of charge. In addition, not only did they move the roofing job up by doing it over a week early to take advantage of some good weather, but finished the job in one day by putting at least 6 workers on my roof. I watched from across the street on my lunch hour and they all worked together like a well oiled machine. There was absolutely no mess left around my home, and my roof looked really nice. Time will tell how it will hold up, but there's a warranty, and based on the service I've gotten so far, I'm feeling okay about it.

The process was amazingly simple, and I couldn't believe that I got such great service from the lowest bidder. They did the entire roof in one day, which I found amazing. When I got home from work, there was no mess, and the roof looks great. I was amazed that I called 6 different companies, and only 4 bothered to return my call. Of those, 3 said they would show up to give me an estimate, but only Jeff actually showed up when he said he would. His bid was a little lower than the next competitor, but for better quality shingles. Also, he noticed a few problem areas that neither of the other guys noticed, which was great.
