NEW BEGINNINGS CONSTRUCTION

Could never get an itemized statement on the initial projects and I finally just gave up and paid the discrepancy we had. We agreed he would remove the landscape board, lay fabric and cover with area with bark dust and pavers. Never removed the board as agreed, and didn't fasten down the fabric so it all came loose and made a mess. Weekly service was fine, outside of some overspray and over pruning. The biggest issue was how non-responsive David was when there was an issue. He just ignored the texts. Ending on a less than good note, he didn't complete yard service for the final week in the last month of the contracted time. Really disappointing.

David was quick to respond if it suited him, unresponsive when there were problems. Yard service overall was okay--I did really like that he uses vinegar as a weed killer. I'm still dealing with the short cuts made on the backyard project.

The work was fine except he never returned to complete the job which required installation of flashing. I paid for material but there it sits even though I have asked about it when he sent me his bill. Seems like the work took a long time to complete and I was puzzled by the cost of materials for such a small job. I had asked him for a bid on some additional work but he never provided this despite promising to do so. I have dealt with many contractors in the past an lack of reliability is always the issue. No different here unfortunately.
