Everything went very smoothly. We were soon contacted and the work was quickly and professionally done. Staff were punctual and capable. We are very pleased with their work, and considered the price to be reasonable, as well.

My kitchen and bathroom custom cabinets look amazing. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of these cabinets is superb. Leigh’s Construction made flat front panel -natural white oak cabinets for a modern look .. some kitchen cabinets have a glass door with white oak framing. I have received so many compliments on the cabinets because they look absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend this company.

Best remodeling company I have ever used. Beautiful workmanship, extremely efficient and professional workers and contractor. Always pleasant and willing to help with anything needed (design, advice, explanations, etc.) Honest and fair prices. Will be using them again!

Rick Plate did a remodel of our kitchen in an older home, which wasn't an easy project. Along the way I asked him to take care of a few extra jobs that I had been putting off and he happily complied. Everything was done professionally and much quicker than I expected. We've used these guys for other projects and won't hesitate to call again.

They are prompt, courteous, clean and in fact I think our home was cleaner after their work and I was extremely satisfied. The price was phenomenal for the work they did. The work they did not just comfortable for me but it makes it more valuable.

Good quality work on house. "Unremarkable", in that they were efficient, effective, on time, and cleanup was very well done.

Jeremy was prompt for the scheduled appointment for the estimate. He got a written estimate to us timely. The work was excellent and looks beautiful! His crew found hidden damage on the roof, and he let us know immediately by phone and email.

It was an excellent experience and the results were wonderful. We ended up with the best bathroom I've seen in a small space! Jeremy and his crew were very professional and very responsive and very helpful. This company aims to please! I would definitely call Leighs first for any additional work.

Jeremy Leigh followed through on every commitment he made to me--and he has been professional, thorough, helpful, responsive and honest. He and his staff provide quality work--they took the mess that the previous contractor left and created my now beautiful kitchen. I trust him—and am now using him for all of my construction and maintenance needs.

Leighs Construction was prompt, thorough, and did an excellent job. They returned my emails and phone calls quickly, accomplished exactly what I asked for, and were all very polite. I would highly recommend them to others and I will call them when I need more work done.

Could not have gone better. Bids were clear, concise, and prompt and we were kept in the loop for everything. Work was done timely. The crew - Rick and his assistant Joel - were a delight to work with and both very professional and perfectionists. They took the area down to the bare bones, replaced joists etc. Siding removed and replaced. Drywall work done on inside. The work site was cleaned up at the end of every single day they were here. We would use them for any further house projects without question. Highly recommend the organization and told them they could use us as a reference !

Jeremy was very professional but was not clear that his workers would be doing the job instead of himself. The details of the job were not clearly provided like what the stairs would look like. We did agree that we wanted temporary wooden stairs that needed to last at least a year and assumed they would look like regular stairs. Jeremy's workers were prompt and extremely fast but very rough with ripping out the old back door. They damaged our light circuit to the back yard lights when removing the old door and the lights no longer work. When we told Jeremy this, our claim was dismissed and we were told this is not possible even though the light switch and wiring are right next to the door. The new back screen door would not close all the way and we could see sunlight around the bottom frame of the door from the inside. Also, the stairs they were supposed to build turned out to be a single wooden step (box) that was built around two concrete blocks and had exposed sides to where you could see the blocks. The drop from the back door to the step is too steep for my beagle to get in and out of the house due to his arthritic hips. The dry-rot repair turned out to be an easier/smaller job than expected and was repaired nicely. We called Jeremy to address these problems and he was very professional over the phone. He agreed that the stairs should have been built differently and questioned the worker that built them. We were told there was a drainage pipe in the ground that was in the way and we would have to consult a plumber to move it before permanent stairs could be placed. The poorly built step was not remedied. My husband was able to fix the screen door so it would close and the workers returned to repair the gaps causing sunlight around the door. They managed to disrupt the screen door again to where it wouldn't close again which my husband had to fix again. So overall, we still have back door/yard lights that are not working and do not have proper steps. I feel that if Jeremy did the work himself we probably would have been more satisfied due to his attention to detail and knowledge. This job certainly was not worth the price we paid. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this contractor and will not use their services in the future. We would reconsider if Jeremy did the work himself or personally inspected his workers work.

I could not be more pleased with the result of all three projects. I feel like I have a new house. I had ideas about what I wanted but there were a lot of details involved and at times it was overwhelming. Jeremy and all of the people involved were very good at giving me guidance and options without pressure. I was referred to a kitchen designer who was very helpful in reviewing layout possibilities and was able to give me computer renderings as my ideas changed, The sub contractor that refinished the floors, did a beautiful job on floors that had seen some damage. Jeremy gave me the suggestion to use the wood in a bedroom to repair and replace damage in other more central places. Using new wood in the bedroom, he recommended a darker wood border around the new wood so the difference in woods looked intentional. The result was more than expected, it looked beautiful and I liked it so much I had it repeated in the kitchen. People always comment on my floors.ed The whole team was very helpful, professional and considerate from Diane in the office to Rick who supervised my project. Rick provided me with some lovely custom shelving in my new bathroom and kitchen giving the rooms character as well as vital additional storage. The relatively small problems that I did encounter, were also handled by Leigh's smoothly like the sink that arrived damaged and the refrigerator I ordered the wrong size. I feel like I have a new house and for the most part I do. This was a big and extensive series of projects and by the nature of it, very disruptive and the folks at Leigh's seem to really understand that and looked to minimize the impact. They advised me on how I should prepare and assisted me in setting up. I think Jeremy and his group are skilled, professional, reasonably priced and go the extra mile. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and I would definitely use them again.

93% of 128 all time reviews in 9 years have given Leigh's an 'A', 6% a 'B' a total of 99% happy customers for work performed . More weight should be given to this number as Leigh's, compared to many providers, does not in any way ask for a review. They do bend over backwards to please the customer, their work is outstanding, only the highest quality of materials such as wood and plywood ? stuff you will no see but very important are used. About an hour after I placed a request for a bid thru Angies list, Diane called, scheduled an appointment for a bid. Jeremy arrived on time and later that day gave me a bid for labor as I had most of the materials and supplies. The bid came out lower than I expected. I did my homework by going to google and asking 'what is the cost of _____ at homewyse ' which takes you to the site where you put in you zip and get a high and low costs for your area. As I have used Leigh's before and know the quality of work, I consider this company to be high end and expected a higher bid. A couple of decades ago, I was once married to a building contractor in a major city and saw the inside of this type of business. The one memory which stands out the most are the smooth talking, con's with faked references who were hired. Once the incompetence was discovered and these men were let go, they go on to do bidding for the unsuspecting homeowner with the faked references. Hiring a legitimate, insured licensed contractor who will not run off with your money and/or ruin your home can not be stressed enough. A couple of years ago, Leigh's remodeled 3 bathrooms updating structurally floors, using ceramic and porcelain tile and did a wonderful job. As I have posted here before, there was an issue 9 months later, not only did Leigh's respond via phone quickly, Jeremy himself came to my home and later the issue was resolved. Most building contractors would not respond this way unless there was more money to be made. The stress is great on the contractors side also as an unbalanced nightmare customer can reek havoc on a good company such as Leigh's. Having your homeremodeled can be one of the most stressful events. Divorces happen, families break up and long lasting bad memories can be created. I am fascinated how Leigh's have their bases covered to eliminate as much stress as possible. Not only does Jeremy have a good eye in hiring his skilled employees but I suspect he gives some sort of 'training' or 'talking to' in maintaining a positive attitude and pleasing the customer as it has been my experience everyone makes the extra effort to please. They are clean cut, pleasant to b around and there is a 'twinge' of sadness when the job is completed and they are gone. Diane, Leigh's office and 'PR' person is also a major component of this smoothly run business. She is knowledgeable of the work, very likable, will call every morning informing you of schedules, what will be done, is available if you need further communication thru the day and will come to your home to deliver the contract and scope of work if you do not want to download it via computer. She sees to it every detail, no matter how small, gets done. The initial paperwork is simple. If you accept Jeremy's bid, you will receive a 'scope of work' which details all work to be done and how much you can spend in materials such as choosing tiles, light fixtures in order to stay inside the bid. The contract itself is also simple and straight forward.

Jeremy Leigh was very knowledgeable and responsive.

Jeremy (owner) was professional and clear about the scope of the project from the beginning. We had the advantage of having a contractor take care of all aspects of window and siding as well as door replacement. In fact Jeremy insisted that he wanted to bid for the entire project, not just the windows and siding as separate jobs. This was a major reason why we went with his bid instead of using potentially 2 contractors for the project. This was a good decision. Diane took care of most of the communication with us and was particularly effective in making sure we got the size and design of windows we wanted. This was the major benefit of the remodel. The project began about when estimated and took less time than originally projected. Once the work began the two main employees (Ozzie lead and Geronimo assistant) worked as a team to get things done ahead of time. Cleanup was done as expected and work area was left in excellent shape daily. Workers were responsive to questions from my wife and myself as work progressed and were willing to take the time and attention to complete the job well. The door replacement was hampered by the use of Anderson product that was outdated. Leighs did all they possibly could to make this work. The trim job on the outside of the door was not optimal but certainly acceptable and within promised parameters. Would have appreciated a more formal run through at the end but job was completed well and on time. Time and availability were a factor in this closure activity I am sure.

Could not even be bothered to tell me he was too busy

As my home is an older home, adjustments to the duct work or vent going to the roof had to be done for the new fan to fit and work properly. The moss on the roof was treated with a moss killer and 2 - 3 moths later, Leigh's Co. came back to remove the dead moss. It is now Dec. no moss and a well working fan with out leaks after all the down pours we have had. For years before I found Leigh's Co., I dealt with many companies with a crew not exactly positive. My home is old, not square or level as a new home and I listened to the moans, groans, poor me, why me attitudes. Some of the work was not always perfect and I justified it due to what they had to work with. I found Leigh's over a year ago and I am always impressed with their upbeat positive attitude and ability to get it done in perfect order when a challenge arises. I believe if Leigh's Col. can not get it done, then it can not be done.

I loved working with this company but there were times when I had to point things out that weren't done the way I thought they should be, but they were very good about wanting to make me happy and the whole staff was very easy to work with. I would hire this company again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
