KENNEDY QUALITY CONSTRUCTION

Our house burned at the end of August. The kitchen, family room and utility room had to be gutted and half of the roof had to be replaced. We weren't able to move back in until the following June. When we went through the house to explain what we wanted, I told them I wanted 3 bread boards. I got no bread boards (I told them many more times), afterward they put bread boards inside drawers making the drawers too small to hold much. There were only five drawers in the kitchen, three the size of silverware drawers (which they put a breadboard in afterward) and two about half a wide as a normal silverware drawer. I told them we needed some drawers instead of cupboards in my kitchen for things like utensils and kitchen towels, so I got 6 new drawers for which I had to pay an extra $800. I had had wonderful cupboards. The new ones are an inch less deep which means some things now have to fit in sideways taking up much more room. The new ones also had a brace in the middle making it hard to put large things inside. They put a facing on the cupboards and took out the braces. It's better, but you have to open and close them left/right and right/left. If you need something on the right side of the cupboard you have to open the left side first. These are things which bother me the most and I think of them every time I need a breadboard (which I removed from my drawers and put them I the counter when I need them), get into the cupboard, or put the spaghetti container away. There were many days when no one was working at our house. Soon after they started they just didn't come for at least a week and then came sporadically. Many houses in the area were built in less time than it took to clean and repair three rooms in our house.
