I spent $1200 on that service.  I liked that they stayed within the bid and that the workers did a really good job.  They cleaned up well too.

Asked them to remove three stumps from my terraced garden. On the way to the area, they tore up my lawn with their tires and scuffed my white concrete driveway. When grinding the stumps they dislodged one of the wooden walls that hold up the terraced levels and threw it over to my fence. The dirt and ground wood was left in a pile that covered the rock wall at the lower edge of the terrace. They didn't even grind a fourth stump, even though it was plainly visible in the middle of the others. I called him to come check it out. He said he'd be right over, but, of course eh never showed.

It all went very well. J & J was prompt in responding to my initial inquiry and gave a responsive bid on the spot after looking at the tree to be removed. A few days later, they removed the tree completely and neatly (even though it was a huge apple tree in a difficult spot), and ground up the stump so I could re-do the back yard. They even cut the wood up into firewood-sized pieces and removed all the remaining branches and leaves. They left a bill, and I paid by check a few days later.
