dr zirski is a very nice man. his bedside is top notch. he examined my knee and then we had an MRI done. the hospital sent the results of the MRI to them but they did not call me to schedule an appointment. i waited for three weeks and then called them and they told me it was my responsiblity to call to make the appointment after the test. this did not sit well with me but that is there procedure and i did not feel like this was explained or emphasized when i went to get the MRI. otherwise, the office is beautiful and the staff are nice and the doctor seems top notch. if i have surgery i feel confident the work will be the best possible

For orthopedics I use Hope Orthopedics of Oregon - Salem. It was just a doctor's visit, I don't have really doubt, I am still in the process. Availability was good. I have only saw the doctor once and I have seen the PA all the rest of the time. Billing and Administration has been fine, we haven't had any yet at all, it's been too soon.

He is kind of new and came from Chicago. He works on hips and, maybe, knees. I thought he was very specific about his knowledge in his area of expertise, having to do with the hip. He did not need to spend much time with me to quickly figure out what the problem was. We got into a quick plan of action to take on the extra work of figuring out exactly to what degree I was having a problem. I thought his office was efficient about authorizations and moving paperwork.

My wife and I went in on a Monday consalted with dr. Fan told him how much pain I was in and when could I get surgery ASAP he said next week, the Tuesday of the following week I had surgery, that was the best thing I could of done.

I spent a LOT of time waiting for the physician, which I understand if they are called away or have to deal with an emergency, but if the staff knew it was going to be quite a while (almost and hour) they could have told me and I could have come back after running a couple of errands.
I find it very difficult to get an accurate message to the provider when I have a question. Typically you have to leave a message with someone who sends a message to either the physician or their PA. Sometimes the message is accurate and some times things get lost in the interpretation. Then, they call you back several hours later. If you catch the call when it comes in, then you might get your question answered (if it was asked properly). If you don't, then you get to start the entire process over again!
The staff is friendly, the office is clean and in good repair, and the physicians typically have a good bed side manner. They are knowledgeable in their field and good at what they do.... BUT their customer service is sometimes lacking.

EXCELLENT! Salem Hospital was.simply astounding, and Dr Coen is both an excellent surgeon and very personable. I will be returning when it's time to do the other knee.

I have seen several doctors and have never had a bad experience. I have had too many appointments to explain each one in detail but have never had anything but excellent experiences. Had a bit of trouble with scheduling a couple years ago but that seems to have been corrected. The doctors I have seen are: Dr. Ballard, Dr. Zilkoski, Dr. Fan and Dr. Sewell. Also Dr. Sewell's PA is doing the injection in my knees. Have never had any kind of a problem with the staff. They are always very helpful. I would certainly recommend Hope Orthopedics to any one.

It's a large practice and they have all the equipment. It is relatively easy to get in to. I could get an appointment within a shorter amount of time. I was pleased with the thoroughness of the doctor.
