Hometown Mattress

We did comparitive shopping for price and quality before selecting Hometown Mattress. Both owners, Mark and Craig didn't engage in high pressure sales like almost all the others we visited. They answered questions and were very informative about changes of ownership in the mattress industry, that affects so-called name brands.

It went very well. It is an owner operated business so there is no commission seeking salesperson. Just information given to make sure that the customer can choose the appropriate product.air

We were looking for a new mattress and had already visited three stores. Mattress World, JC Penny, and Sleep Country. We had been given a wide range of prices from $1200 to $4000 for a mattress. We apparently had very expensive taste. We quickly found the mattress we liked and we knew the features we were looking for so it was not a question of what the salesperson was trying to sell us on. We knew what we wanted. The price was all we were having trouble with. We were just about to end up at Costco as a last resort for a mattress that was only close to what we wanted, but not quite and were willing to settle since the price was much better than what the salespersons were quoting, (even after the super sales price and a few extra dollars knocked off just because we were such great people). Then we stopped at Hometown Mattress and found sanity in a sea of quick financing and questionable promises. The salespeople were not pushy but informative. The prices were realistic. We found our mattress quickly as we did with all the other places and the price was only $500. It was refreshing to have such a great experience after all the other disappointing experiences that left us wanting to run home and take hot showers to get the disgust off of us. One will not go wrong shopping for a mattress here. The mattresses are made in Washington, not China. That alone was enough for us to buy. We did not have to make a deal for a mattress here, much like the other places that make you feel like you were trying to buy a car, we just bought one. We did not have to buy the set or loose the warranty. Other places said the warranty was void if you did not buy the box spring the mattress was sold with. We could buy the box spring if we chose too, the price was minimal as I recall, much better than the price at the other places. The warranty87 was the same at the other places too.
