The resulting "bid" was among the highest we were given and was presented in a confusing and complex manner. We requested a "breakout" of the bathroom section of the bid. This was not done. We visited the store again to clarify the bid items and were told of revisions of the bid. We never received a final copy of the final bid although the store employee did verbally inform us of the new amount. I just got a call from them yesterday wanting to "close the books" I suppose on the bid as there was no concern expressed about our experience with them. The amount of work required to decipher their bid was more than expected (it was as if a computer program generated it) and the practice of requiring money "up front" to measure the floors is probably required as they are not a likely low bidder. It still seems like an unfair charge for the product I was given.
