Gowireless

To begin with GoWireless represented themselves as Verizon representatives - which they were/are not.  They talked me into a phone different than I wanted and Vanessa the assistant manager pressured me and pressured me to buy a Verizon wireless internet modem even though I told her I had tried it before and it had not worked well.Vanessa told me to take it home and try it and if I was not happy she would take it back.  I reminded her that my computer was not in Salem yet and it would be over a week before I could try it.  Vanessa assured me that she would still take it back if I had any problems.  After returning from Idaho with my computer I tried hooking up to the Verizon internet modem and I repeatedly got disconnected - just as I had two years previously on a different computer.  When I returned the item to the store Vanessa refused to take the modem back and refused to credit my account.  She even went so far as to tell me that she had not promised me anything.  She called the store manager who refused to authorize her giving me a receipt for the returned modem and also refused to take the modem back.  I left the modem on the store counter and walked out of the store (with at least one other store employee witnessing).  Vanessa and GoWireless still refused to credit back my credit card back.  This is probably one of the most unethical places I have ever visited. They easily make promises they apparently have no intention of keeping.  I don't understand why Verizon even allows them to sell their cell phone contracts.  One of their own workers informed me that they did not think they were going to work there much longer because they were instructed to push things to customers that they did not need and large amounts of customers were coming back mad at the workers.
