German Motors Of Salem Inc

My car quit on the way to work and I had to have it towed in to Mike and company at German Motors. Even with my unnanounced drop in, he diagnosed and fixed the fuel pump by the end of the day so I could pick it up on my way home from work. I've had my Jetta in to Mike a handful of times over the years and will never use anyone else. The work is always done well and quickly and I feel like he has my interests in mind when he's working on my car and giving me options/advice.

It's been a couple of years since I have been to German Motors. I no longer have my Jetta. :-( However, if I owned another VW I wouldn't hesitate to take it to this shop. These guys understand Volkswagon's and their quirks. The first time I visited the shop was because my check engine light had come on and I was concerned. I called the dealer and they said to bring it in next week. So I called around and Mike had me come in right away. He put me on the diagnostic computer and we found out the air filter was not plugged in. (My husband's fault) To make a long story short Mike was so kind and understanding...and knew I was concerned about my car. They are great people and will take good care of your VW.

Their price is standard; they go by the flat rate. They are good, but not cheap.

I started taking my Westfalia Camper to Mike at German Motors after seeing a recommendation on the Car Talk website. These guys are very honest and very good. The shop is spotless and they know Volkswagens and other German cars extremely well. I've driven in off the street to ask a quick question about installing a light or something and Mike will just come out and do it. I'm very particular about my cars, but have no problem trusting them to these guys.
