First Impressions Landscape Maintenance

It was horrible. Everything they did on day one they had to fix everything on day two. I guess they felt like they spent enough time on the job and just left. They had to gall to ask for the other half of the money with only 2 of the 7 zones working. I would not recommend them! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Matt and his crew are fantastic! In 2013 he made darn sure our backyard was tip top for a wedding. He always

makes our yards look like a park! I could not be more pleased with his work and still use him now! You won't

be disappointed in him or his crew!

They worked only 20 minutes for each visit.  That meant there was always some work left undone.  If I wanted them to get that undone work done it would be a seperate charge.

They are thorough and consistent in keeping our yard (front and back) looking good

They seem to do a good job and very open to suggestions I had. I recommend them because they would do what I want them to do. I would use this provider again in the future.

Matt (owner) called me back promptly and came over to personally discuss and survey the work desired.   I had a written estimate emailed back to me by the next morning.   Price was not the cheapest but competetive.    I twice made changes to the initial scope of the work and both times Matt responded promptly with new estimates.   Work was scheduled for two weeks out.   On that date a two man crew came out by 7:30AM and worked until 4:00PM in 95 degree heat.   They worked hard and were very courteous, responsive to my instructions -- and then stuck to the work assigned until finished.   The workers were very professional and Matt also came by to look at the nearly finished job that afternoon (before the workers left) to made sure I was satisfied with their service.   Only then did he request payment as per the estimate.   The work was done as detailed and done very well.   It is great to find a local business that promptly responds,  shows up on time and completes the job as promised.   I will hire him again if needed and do recommend this company to others. 

They arrived on time; identified all of the issues with sprinkler heads and identified malfunctioning valve.
One crew memeber started working on sprinkler heads and another on the valve.
In 90 minutes they finished the work, tested system and were finished.
They were VERY efficient.

We are delighted with the services we get from First Impressions.  They show up once a week and leave the yard looking great.  We got some serious issues ahead of us and we know they'll do their usual fantastic job. 
I highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them in the years ahead.

They gave me a quote in a timely manner and were able to do the work the next day when I accepted it. They showed up ontime and were done mid afternoon. The owner was there at the beginning and end of the job to give direction and check the work which I think shows a lot of pride.

Looking forward to the spring when I will have them complete a larger project.

It was EXCITING!! This company was recommend by JB Lawns and Matt and his helpers were very quick, very thorough and very eager to make everything look just right. The first day was spent weed whacking the overgrown (and overwhelming) backyard, clearing all that mess out and digging and leveling both yards. My husband was sending me pictures and videos all day while I was at work. We were shocked at how fast the backyard was cleared out, as we knew this would probably be the hardest part of the job. Matt called to keep us updated even though his workers were updating us. Matt showed up several times to check on the progress but didn't need to, it all went so flawless!! The second day was spent getting and spreading the compost layer and sod. The compost truck arrived and they were so careful on our property around our tree and even down to not harming my one last tomato plant. Compost was spread and the sod was delivered and put in. Again, Matt was there helping his crew making it that much faster. Every last detail was thought of and when they left, my driveway, porch and sidewalk look clean and new. It was such a great experience!! Matt and his crew are friendly and informative. When the job was done we went through all the required maintenance and general info about the type of sod we had. Our yard is the most beautiful it's ever been and we are looking forward to having First Impressions return for at least yearly maintenance if not more often. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND FIRST IMPRESSIONS TO ANYONE!!! I can't emphasize enough how easy and fun this all was!!!

We moved in to a house three years ago with a very high maintenance yard. Shortly after, our daughter was born, and that's when the yard took a turn for the worse. Our yard had been essentially untouched for a year, with flower beds overrun with grass and weeds literally as tall as the gutters. First Impressions was hired as a gift from a relative to get our yard back in order. In two days a two-man crew came out and totally whipped it into shape. They reclaimed our flower beds, trimmed various ornamental trees and bushes, and took out the all weeds that gave our yard that jungle-feel. Our yard now looks fantastic! Plus, every single person we encountered with the company with was extremely pleasant to deal with. I definitely recommend this crew and will likely call on them again in the future for maintenance.

The contractor was extremely responsive and returned my call immediately, a schedule a walk-thru occured within a couple of days of initial contact, which was followed up immediately with an estimate.
The contractor committed to starting the work with-in a 2 week time frame and did just that.  He also identified it was a 2 day job, and for fact the job was completed on time.
The workers were quick about doing their job and took care to clean up afterwards.  You'd never know they were here with the exception of the landscaping look fantastic afterward.
I really liked the fact that the owner worked with me on ideas and gave great suggestions, and the price was very reasonable for the work done.
I highly recommend First Impressions, and would use them again.

They did an excellent job.  They were fast, showed up on time, and charged less than what they quoted.

I hired First Impressions Landscaping to trim and remove a large quantity of vegetation on an overgrown property.  They have been working on this project for several months and are progressing well.  I am very satified with their progress to date.

They show up reliably on the same day to week do their jobs quickly & efficiently and go. Are friendly and helpful.

This is about the fourth year we have used Matt and First Impressions.  He always does a great job.  He is a good communicator and takes time to explain what he thinks is needed and negotiates for portions of the job that we can afford and are willing to undertake.  He breaks down estimates in separate categories, sends these several estimates via email, and keeps to the price we agree upon.  For the sake of staying current with current pricing, we had another estimate done this past year that came in higher than First Impressions and seemed less complete and less professional.  Matt has always followed through on the job agreed upon in a timely manner.  His workers are quick and thorough.  The lawn ended up looking especially spectacular this year.  He also fixed a sprinkler pipe, which was damaged in short order.
