Great.

Pump in pond was replaced and all other irrigation related issues were repaired as expected. 
Would definitely use them again. 

Service to repair leaking and non functioning sprinkler system.  Actual work done was good, but had to correct the number of hours billed when the invoice arrived.

I couldn't get them to do what I asked them to do. We're just having terrible communication. I cannot talk the crew themselves because they didn't understand English. Every time I try to talk to whoever was in charge for my account, I ended up talking to different people all time time. The communication was very simple, I could email that person and it was just great. I don't know exactly what they did to change how they communicated.

It was excellent. They are fast and efficiant. He drew up the design himself that fit a strange area that was hard to make look good. They cleaned up the area really well.

I always asked for the same guy. He was Randy. He is just competent and willing to do as fast he could do. They were fairly price. I'll continue to use them. The quality is good and fine.

They are personal and responsive. I was happy with what they did. The work is all guaranteed and warrantied when something wasn't right they fixed it. No problem. It was a lot of work.

The service turned out very well. They did an excellent job. They were also willing to come back and replace a couple of plants that had been damaged by wind and also added an extra plant in a section they did not work on originally.

DeSantis did an excellent job and get an A in each category.

They were great and are a great company. They were not quite as quick as I had hoped but the quality of work is very good.

It's not a big or complex job, but I can count on DeSantis to do the work needed, no drama, and at a fair price.

Called for an estimate from 3 companies, DiSantis was in the middle to the high end. I needed a pergola too, and they had an associated company that builds them. So instead of pieceing together many contractors I just went with one for planning and scheduling. The workers were very hard workers, the only break they took was lunch, and always busy. Did a professional job and we like it.

I first called DeSantis to aquire someone to do some major matienence on my yard. You have to keep in mind DeSantis is a Salem company. So, they have to come all the way to Portland to do their work.
I had some problems getting my contact on the phone twice. Finally was able to speak with a gentleman that would be coming to the house to do a tour to see what all needed to be done.
Now, I was VERY specific with the rep from DeSantis. I went through every area in the yard that needed to be tended to, as well as explaining to him what NOT to touch. He pointed out to me that we had some invasive walnut trees growing in odd places that should be removed, as well as another invasive plant that was growing into a shrub. He recommended that it be trimmed down so they could pull the out.
After we met, he emailed me a bid with a list of items I had requested to be done. The list was wrong. I had to go back through and change the list. I called him and explained to him that some of the items on the list were incorrect.. he had mentioned not to edge a certain area and other items. It was odd. I just met with him. He told me to change the items and return the bid. He would fix it.
I received another bid a day later, which included all my corrections. Once that was done. I figured I would give them a try. He seemed to be knowledgeable and he knew I wanted to get it done.
We made an appointment and they were set to come out. I had had some previous work done by another company and they were really bad. I was hoping that this would be a better experience.
They showed up on time. The rep showed up as well. It appeared he was giving directions to the men he had working for him. He came to the door and explained what they would be working on that day.
After that, I can only tell you one thing. As I was not home most of the time they were there.
I saw a man just standing around in my backyard, blowing leaves with a leaf blower in circles. :( He did this for 15 min in the same spot).
The rep from DeSantis called me in the afternoon to tell me that they would have to come back the next day and work some more on it. They wouldn't be able to get it done in one day. I found that strange, since they got there at 9:00am and left at 4:00pm
The second day came and gone and I really didn't see any difference between the days.
When the second day was ending I called the rep and asked how they would like to be paid. He told me that all I needed to do was send a check to the main office and that they would be giving me an invoice at the end of that day.
I received the invoice. They left. I immediately went outside to check on the work they had done and was disappointed.
They follow the list I had given them. They didn't remove the walnut trees like we had agreeed upon. Another item on the list was the shrubbery coming through the fence on our side from the neighbor, they were supposed to remove and did not.
I was not impressed and was throughly disappointed. For as much as I was going to pay them I had expected great service. Especially, since this is supposed to be a high ranking landscaping company.
Something else that the rep told me was they would contact me again to see we wanted to use them as regular lawn maintenance. They never contacted me again and it is now almost 6 months after the service.
They did not pay attention to detail. I will never use them again.

It went very well. Stuart Martin, the maintenance supervisor, was very helpful in planning which new trees to add. He literally went the extra mile to go almost to Gresham to obtain one that he wanted. The landscape is now well balanced with trees and shrubs that should do well in our climate and which should be easy to maintain. It is a pleasure to look at the final result. The planting crew, Jose and Jesus, did a very good job, also.

They have a lot of work to do. The work they did was awesome. Their punctuality and quality was good. Their work is worth the price we paid. I would use them in the future.

The work they finally did went OK. But communications were poor on scheduling. And then there was supposed to be follow-up work and a landscaping review on some changes we had in mind. Nobody followed up; we have not heard from them since, so we will go with another contractor. The company just seemed unresponsive.

Nothing really stood out. They had good information and they were not pushy.

The workers spent three days at the property and all work was completed as outlined in the scope of work. All trees were removed or pruned as specified, all weeds were pulled, compost was applied, the lawn was edged, mowed and aerated, pest and fungal treatments were applied, and all yard debris was hauled away. The yard looks dramatically different! We were so impressed with the quality of the work that we signed a monthly maintenance contract with DeSantis to take care of our property on a weekly basis.
