If you are invested money in projects where you are hiring this company and are looking for professionals… this IS NOT the company to go with. Im still trying to understand. I worked with Margret, the owner of the company on both consultations. I’m a return customer. 1st time was to pick out interior colors and was satisfied with receiving them with in a couple days. I was told it was nice to work with me and looked forward to helping further on my remodel. I had a second consultation to pick home exterior paint colors as our home was being resided a month. During the, “consultation” this timeline was explained to her and she said no problem. After waiting over a month with no response I contacted the company and the owner, Margret, sent me this email… “Got your message from the office and sorry - this has been unfinished in my drafts and I just have been too busy with consultations and remodeling to wrap up. No charge for the visit and sorry - I just am better to focus on the work I have lined up and here.” I replied to her I had the contractors her putting up siding and really needed the color choices. She replied “sorry, I’m going on vacation and cannot help you.” In an email response. I’m honestly just floored. Against, if you have money invested in projects and are looking for professionals… this IS NOT the company to go with. I truly just thought they forgot to send the colors over, not they just decided like a game without telling me they had no intentions on helping me. ?♀️?♀️?♀️?♀️ I will definitely update this post including recommendation a professional company patrons use for staging and remodeling choices. My restate agent has already dropped using them now. ?♀️?♀️?♀️

"[Member Name Removed], When you contacted us on the morning of Friday, September 1st, you didn't ask for the paint colors, only asked not to be charged for the appointment. I emailed some information at no charge and assured you that you were not charged for the visit. Your email the next day said the painters were there waiting and that you needed paint colors. It being a Saturday of a Holiday three-day weekend, we were already out of town making it impossible to respond as we could have done so on Friday. It would have been beneficial, even on Friday, if you informed us you still wanted colors or that painting was starting the next day."

Margaret and Creative Concepts went above and beyond to get our home prepared for listing. She was professional and very responsive to our goals. I was impressed with how fast she organized contractors and got the work completed, as well as with her great communication. If you want to sell your house—STAGE IT! We had a very nice realtor and followed her suggestions to repair our deck, do touch up painting, take down the family photos, and de-clutter our house. I refused to repaint the beautiful family room my wife and I had painted—one wall a gorgeous purple and another a bright yellow. Then we put our house up for sale. In the three months the house was listed we had one couple look at it. Four months later we let our new realtor have control. She hired a stager (the wonderful Margaret) to take over. We hired a painter to replace the vibrant purple and yellow with a subtle and neutral light gray. He repainted the gaudy bathroom my wife loved. We removed about 50 attractive canvases and photos my wife had taken. We sold, gave away, or stored 3/4 of our nice but dated furniture. We rolled up our rugs so the hardwood floors showed. We de-cluttered times two! Then Olivia came in. She bounced in with Creative Concepts’ tables and couches and chairs and carpet and art work and fake plants and decorative books and art objects for the tables and shelves. It was horrible! She turned our formerly beautiful home which was full of character into a bland, neutral upscale hotel room. And guess what? We had hundreds of views on line, nearly 100 saves and two offers, one was $16,000 above our asking price! 10 days after it went on line we were selling our house. So, as much as you love your house and all those wonderful things you figured out to make it perfect. Just let it all go! Have Margaret come out, look at your house, and tell you what you need to do to sell it. She is very non-threatening as she tells you what will allow a prospective buyer to see themselves in your house and make it theirs. It will no longer be your house. It will be the new owners’ house. Heck, we can always paint a room in our next house purple and yellow if we want. Or maybe just light gray...

Margaret was fantastic. She advised on color selection, décor and products used in the remodel of my kitchen and master bath. She works with many skilled tradespeople who were all prompt and reliable. Margaret provided an itemized written estimate and the project came in under budget. The house has been transformed! We have a rental house that needed a lot of work before being listed for sale, and were referred to Margaret and Creative Concepts by our real estate agent. Margaret and team did an amazing job, and made it so easy for us. We are so thankful for the referral. Fantastic. Margaret is very knowledgeable about design! She was confident in her assessment of how walls would look after being removed and had some wonderful lighting ideas. We felt that she quickly understood our objectives. She had ready referrals, which helped us as we are new to the area. We absolutely will be calling her back for Phase II of our rennovations.

It could not have gone any better! Margaret helped to orchestrate all work, handling contracting and staging and recommending professionals for other work. The house came out beautiful after the work was completed and it was fully staged. We could not have done this without her! The house sold on the first day for over asking! Our experience with Creative Concepts was incredible. Not only did they make our home makeover less stressful, they made it exciting! From paint to tile, fixtures to countertops, appliances to furniture- we gave them our vision and let them go! Margaret and her team saw our vision and far exceeded our expectations. Although we aren't selling our home, when we do, they will be the ones to stage and prepare it for going on the market. You should definitely call Margaret if you are selling a home more than 10 years old or if you picked colors yourself without a decorator. So far we have used Margaret for final decisions on colors for wall repainting and bathroom/kitchen remodeling. Her suggestions are all consistent with the design decisions being made in newer homes and home remodels, which can be seen by looking at online real estate ads. Once I started comparing the before and after pictures, it became obvious that a sea foam green bedroom wall looks terrible, and dark oak molding against a white wall is kind if dorky. She also finds those problems you have tuned out because you see them every day. Am not as excited about the backsplash tile recommends, so maybe pick you down tile. Since she is less expensive than an interior decorator, you could just call her even if you are not selling to get fix up ideas, then you can enjoy them yourself. She does answer her email, which I like, and spent time with my wife

Took most of furniture out of house, shelves bared. Brought in bland décor, a blow up bed and fake floral arrangements. I should have left original furniture in the house, but listened to my realtor and had it staged. Would not do this again. When the stagers came and cleaned out the items they had brought in they also took an item of ours. It took my three phone calls to get it back.

"We never had any negative feedback while the property was staged, so this review has caught us by surprise. The feedback we received from the local real estate agent and other agents who toured the property was extremely positive feedback. We did not receive any feedback from the reviewer (who lives out of the area) or indication from them that they were less than satisfied while the home was staged. This was an estate situation where we used most of the owners items and supplemented with our inventory. We also added art and decor to bathrooms to work with maroon carpet, pink and blue counters and received very positive feedback on the staging in these areas as well. If there would have been any indication of displeasure, we would have been happy to make changes, so we were especially sad to see that any of our clients were not thrilled with our work (and that we weren't given the opportunity to make them 100% satisfied). In our area for a home at this price point, using a blow up bed and artificial plants is standard practice. When the home sold, we quickly removed the staging so an estate sale could commence (not the notice indicated in our contract). The ceramic chicken that was removed in error was returned within a few days of being notified. We've put into our procedures to contact any owner who doesn't give us feedback upon completion of staging to make sure they are 100% satisfied to make sure we have better communication and that we have exceeded their expectations which is always our goal."

Margaret arrived on time and proceeded to walk through my home with me. She addressed every room and suggested the ways in which I could make my home more marketable. She is professional and courteous, and given that there is often stress in selling a home, she was also very kind and intuitive. She talked with me about clearing clutter and moving furniture, and I was fortunate to have on hand items that would complement the rooms in my home. I understand that she is also able to provide furniture and accessories if necessary. Margaret has a fantastic eye for detail, and was able to recommend minor repairs and products that would make my home look almost new again. She suggested that I use a divider screen as a headboard for my bed, and it looks wonderful! Without her help, I honestly would not have known where to begin. After two weeks of following her suggestions regarding minor repairs, de-cluttering, cleaning the carpets and windows, deep cleaning the house, and accessorizing, my house is now show ready. Within less than 48 hours of the listing going active, we have a showing scheduled. I highly recommend her services and would definitely use her again should the occasion ever arise.
