Courthouse Athletic Club

I was a member of this fitness center/gym for 30+ years. During the last couple of years I have felt the quality has decreased, both the quality of the program and the upkeep of the facility. Terminated my membership with them in in March 2016 and ended up in a bit of a billing dispute with them. Did not feel they were very "member friendly".

Great instructors, clean facility and a fun motivating place to keep fit.

They have a lot of facilities and most importantly they are about a minute-and-a-half from out house. They have all of the equipment, facilities and services that we need. We have been members with them for as long as I can remember. I am 50 now and started going there when the first opened. That was when I was in my early twenties. They are a full service fitness club so they have classes, trainers and performance training staff. The staff in general is top quality and they are essentially our own little neighborhood fitness club so I have a personal relationship with the staff. It is a great facility that has, very much, a family atmosphere. We use the South River Road club.

This program serves athletes and others who want targeted training. The coaches/trainers there are very experienced with rehabilitation and with specific exercises to help athletes to prevent injury, and to perform well, in specific sports. My teen made steady progress with their customized plan and her regular participation. The coaches/trainers are good-natured, but also know when to be serious. The atmosphere is lively and healthy.

I have been a member for over 5 years. They provide a clean, safe and enjoyable environment for working out individually or in a class. The classes offered vary and are quite motivating and challenging. I really enjoy the use of their racquetball courts. They also have tanning, saunas, hot tubs, pool and other equipment available. Overall, they offer a wide range of fitness services all under one roof!

I have been going here off and on for twenty years. They have everything. The instructors are great and very well-trained. It is an upbeat, positive and friendly environment.

It's very nice, very clean, very well run. The staff really seem to be happy to be there. They have swimming lessons there; they have both indoor and outdoor.

If you want a good place to work out with a lot of different options then the courthouse is right for you. They have cardio, weights, pool/sauna, more classes than I can count, and basketball court. It can be a little busy if you go during the peak times (after work) and it is a little pricey (tip - if you live in Gateway Village Apts. behind the club you get a free membership). Overall, the staff is great. They always say hello and goodbye to you. Also if you sweat a lot like I do you will appreciate the towel service.

They have a hot, and cold pool. They have a Jacuzzi, and sauna. They have exercise classes that I like. I like their exercise equipment. They have individualized instruction. I like the facility. It is open 24 hours. I get a discount through my apartment complex. As far as I'm concerned the pricing is excellent.

Overall, this fitness center helps me out in any way possible. The staff is very friendly and really make it a positive environment. In the end, I would recommend this to anyone and I will continue to use them.

I love this place. They do a fantastic job. Everyone is really nice and they work hard to do what they need to.
