What I like best is that they’re just excellent. They take good care of the animals, they’re not expensive. They get you appointments quickly and they’re very human people.

He is reasonably priced and is conservative in his treatment.

Dr. Swart diagnosed a tumor in my cat's lung and spent a good amount of time discussing options and treatments. Dr. Swart advised, honestly, that our kitty was quite old, and that he would probably not recommend expensive surgeries I went back to Dr. Swart after 30 days for a second xray and Dr. Swart has been providing follow up care. I did take our kitty to a feline cancer specialist in Portland for a second opinion and some palliative care, who agreed with Dr. Swart's diagnosis of a tumor and further diagnosed inflamed lungs and put our kitty on drugs to reduce the inflamation.

I don't really like the smell walking into because it smell like cat urine. Overall, they are excellent.

My vet is very practical and very down-to-earth with his suggestions and during the appointment. His staff is pleasant and easy to work with. I am happy with his practice and will continue to take my pets here.

The gentleman was very nice, but the facility was not very clean. Outside and inside, everything was dirty to me. I won't take my cats here again and I would not recommend them. I am not familiar with the prices in this area.

We had brought our cat to Capitol in the past for worms, when we heard her yowling in the litter box, we called them and they set an appointment up for the following day. We brought her in, only had to wait about 10 minutes to see Dr. Swart, who's very gentle and caring. He checked her out, gave us a preliminary diagnosis (nothing serious thankfully!) and he got a urine sample. We were in and out in probably less than half an hour. They told us to call for urinalysis results the following morning, we did, the results were normal. Prices were extremely reasonable - about $35 for the visit and $35 for the urinalysis. The place is not fancy but the service and attitude of the doctor and staff (both human and animal) is great.
