I was extremely happy with the work on the roof and the kitchen, which was an insurance claim, so I asked them to fix a window that had a cracked casing that caused the trim inside the house to warp. The window repair was not associated with the insurance claim but American did such a great job with the kitchen and roof that I asked them to fix the window. The price, quality of workmanship and repairs were excellent. I'd highly recommend American Restoration for any work you need to have done - especially hire them if you have an insurance claim because that is where American excels. Working with an insurance company and trying to figure out how the policy coverages work / don't work is exhausting. American Restoration are experts in dealing with the insurance companies. I've listed the cost of service at $5000 but that includes $3500 paid out by my insurance company. My out of pocket was $1500 including my deductible.
Description of Work: Had water damage to my kitchen due to a leak in the roof. Needed drywall repaired / painted etc and the roof repaired.

+ -1 moreThanks to everybody at American Restoration and Construction for making my flooded kitchen experience tolerable. I didn?t have a clue what to do when I first called and talked to John Stoddard the President of the company but he offered to give me advice even if I decided to use another company to make the needed repairs. Thankfully I did use AR and was impressed with every single person that came to my house and especially with the final results. Thanks for the great looking new kitchen.
Description of Work: New kitchen counters, refinished the cupboards and drawers and hung new cupboard doors and removed old flooring (abatement required because of asbestos) and installed new flooring and removed old florescent lighting and installed recessed lighting.

Description of Work: Flooded kitchen and bath repairs paid by insurance company. What was suppose to take a couple of weeks took a couple of months. Tore new flooring. Installed island back in wrong location. Dented and scrated stainless steel refridge. Horible seams in counter. Did a poor job of matching the paint color and actually ended up using my paint to do the job correctly. Did do some nice fixes to the vent in the bathroom but it does not make up for the mistakes and length of project |

Description of Work: We had an oil spill in our basement which required all sorts of environmental work, etc. This company came in and did all the work to restore the basement. Not only were they very thorough, they had to do the work while we were out of town and over the phone. They did an excellent job. I would use them again.
