AFFORDABLE HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING

Our furnace wouldn't turn on so searched for someone willing to come out on Saturday.  Mike called back quickly and came by.  He quickly figured out it was just a burned out fuse, didn't try to sell me anything else. He is coming back to clean the furnace, it needs it!  Would definitely recommend him for jobs.

I had been noticing over the past three years or so a gradual loss of efficiency in both heating and cooling on our heat pump system - that is, that it was taking more electricity at the same average temperatures in the winter, and in the summer, I particularly noticed that the heat pump couldn't keep the house at the set temperatures on hot days.  For example, temperature around 88 to 90 degrees outside, I set the indoor temperature for 75, and it got to 81 or 82 in the house.  I should have brought this up much sooner of course, and kept forgetting to mention it when they did our annual maintenance.  But a heat wave was coming on (forecast for high 90s to 100), and I called on a Thursday evening to see if they could diagnose anything.  Chris had been having a very busy week (over 100 calls), and he could have lectured me about dealing with a long-standing problem earlier or at a less busy time, but instead he asked his technician Tim to squeeze us in the next evening on his way home from another job.
 Tim arrived promptly, went right to work, and soon found the refrigerant was low (2 & 1/2 pounds short) and filled it up.  We all immediately noticed the difference and the house rapidly cooled.  Tim took time to talk over the situation, to let us know that it was in all likelihood a very slow leak (even if performance degraded over a year, that would be a slow leak), but advised us to watch performance closely to see if anything more serious was developing.  He was professional, patient and considerate at the very end of a very busy week!

Mike and his techncian John arrived promptly at 8:30, Set to work removing the old ducting, furnace and thermostat.  They installed the system in a professional manner.  When finished they cleaned up the work area and removed the old furnace and packaging.  I will be using their services in the future.

Mike is the best!  I called about having him come out to disconnect my a/c unit and was able to do the job that same day.  I enjoy working with him as this was the third time he has done a job for me.  Efficient, trustworthy, timely, Mike will always be my first call.

WANTED ME TO CALL ELECTRIC CO THAT HE USED FOR INSTALL TO BLAME THEM FOR ALL OF THE UNITS PROBLEMS.
