"Thank you for the great review on Angie's List. It helps us improve our service. If you ever need anything for your septic let us know. We also rent portable restrooms and provide the same professional service. Thank you again! Ione Darras Ace Septic and Excavating Ace Chemical Toilets 503-393-1033"
Well, it?s both favorable and unfavorable the service we
received.
The receptionist that books appointments was nice and
professional. We were scheduled promptly for that same week, and even got
a reminder call about the appointment.
The Septic tech showed up on time, talked to my husband.
Then told us we had the ?dug? wrong ?opening? for septic clean out, and it need to be the other opening that was 2
feet x 2 feet.
So the technician and my husband dug thru some hard ground to find the opening so we could get the septic tank pumped.
Well, during the process the lid to the septic tank was
broken into 3 pieces. It was very difficult to remove. The service tech said that maybe he could
find a replacement since he broke it.
After the pumping of the septic tack the technician told us that he would locate a cover so we could re bury the tank. He said he would call back with an update about a lid for the Septic tank in a few days.
So, we waited about 5 days, then called the company and was promised a follow up call. It, never happened.
Well, after another week with a septic tank open and a large hole in the ground. My husband called again to see if they had the lid
replacement. Was promised a follow up call it never happened.
So, we were left with a three foot hole in ground and the septic tank top wide open. You could
smell the septic tank and, it was a very dangerous opening.
I was afraid that someone would get hurt, or my dog could fall into the hole and die. Living on a small farm there are animals around old dog, cat, and the opening was right on the pasture fence line.
So, the bottom line is, don?t expect any follow if the lid to your septic tank brakes. You on your own, and it?s just too bad.
They could have helped use with a referral to another company that makes septic tanks
or something at least they could have tried too do something.
But No... You?re screwed fix it yourself...
Will never recommend this company to anyone, and if your
reading. I am sure you wouldn?t want to go thru what we did?
He was the 7th septic service person I have had in the last 4 years and the first one to determine the problem so it can be fixed permanently. I felt he was honest and forthcoming.
field pipe, saving me hundreds of dollars versus replacing the whole
thing.
