Academy Award Painting

It is very easy to work with Don Pierre. This is the second time I used him and I will use him again. He is a quality painter who tries to do the best for the customer.

There was a bit of miscommunication about the date, but that may have been my oversight. The two men who did the painting were skilled, thorough, respectful and non-smokers, which is important to me. I plan to have them paint my exterior in the spring.

Great, paint job has lasted 11 years and I have having them come back and paint my house again. This is a house built in 1915 with shiplap siding and double hung windows with cross hatches.  They made recommendations on what should be painted in the trim color which were great recommendations.  Covered my shrubs and cleaned up.  The project took 4 weeks and was an easy experience for me.  I looked at other older house they painted.

We have a custom house built in 2006.  The cabinets (painted white) chipped very easily, because of  a poor job by the original painter.  We feared they would all have to repainted, and that the cost would be very high.  However, their estimator, Steve, said he would remove the bad doors and drawers, take them to his shop, sand & repaint.  His crew also touched up many places.
We thought it would be impossible to match old paint, because of fading.  However, Steve and his crew did an outstanding job.  The doors did look a little too shiny at first, but he said they would match the existing within a few days, once the new paint had fully cured (that was about a week and a half ago, and they look fine.  The touchup also looks good.  Overall, he repainted about a third of our doors/drawers, and touched up several dozen areas.   It is virtually impossible to tell the cabinets were ever repainted.
Because it was hard to define the scope, Steve couldn't give a fixed price bid, so he did the work Time and Materials.  I have a construction background, and I am always leery of T&M.  However, Steve seemed very trustworthy, and his reviews on Angies were very high.  He estimated, though, that it wouldn't be over $2,000.  In the end, the total was $1,600.  His workers (Brandon & Brian) were very professional, thorough, and quick.  We did not see any wasted motion.  The whole job took about a week from start to finish.  Steve came out at least twice that week, as well as the following week to follow up.  He even reinstalled a door knob free! 
There was only one area that didn't come out quite right, and he will fix that when he comes out to paint the outside of the house, which we gave him the contract forbecause this job went so well.  I only mention this minor point only to emphasize thier attention to quality and customer satisfaction.

We like them because they provide good service and do a good job. They got the whole job done in a day.

This company was outstanding.  We have a big home with some major  challenges. They were prompt  clean and very  tidy. I would call them anytime I needed a painter. My neighbors hired them to paint their home as soon as they finished ours. they were very pleased also.

They did all the prep work (power washed first) incl removing items attached to buildings and put them back up when done.  Had enough people on the job so all was finished in 5 days (one work week).  They were careful of my plants, neatened up at the end of every day, cheerful, professional, did good work.  

Academy Award painting did a wonderful and professional job on the four (4) bedrooms we had painted and the colors for the bedrooms were painted just as we wanted. The team cleaned up and left no mess behind which I was very happy with. I enjoyed working with them and would recommend them to everyone and plan to use them again for my own needs.

I emailed the company and the owner contacted me within 24 hours.  He gave me a fair and reasonable estimate, detailing what services he would provide.  He was really knowlegable about painting, plus a very outgoing guy to work with. 
when the time arrived for the painting, the crew arrived and went to work.  It was amazing to see how each person knew his responsibility.  They worked HARD the whole day and completed the work within several days.  I would recommend then.  They are prompt, courteous, and professional.  It was a  really good experience for me!

Was excellent. The crew was professional and courteous.. They worked hard, got the job down quickly, cleaned up after themselves and were very good at communicating and making sure everyone was on the same page.

I had the estimate done and they were the least expensive of four.  The thing that sold me though, was his explanation of the insurance coverage that he  and that some painters may not carry. So if one of his workers fell off a ladder I would not be responsible for it.  I looked it up on line and it was true some painters do not carry it and or has let it expired.
My house was built in 2006 and is about 2200 square feet.  No major problems with it, just the paint was fading and caulking needed to be replaced.  Workers started at 8 am each day.  First day was pressure washing which was simple.  Informed me that they were going to start painting the following day.  Painting went really well.  the amazing thing was is that I work grave yard shift and I was still able to sleep in until 10 each morning.  the crew was very quite.  I checked on there progress every so often and all workers were working every time I came out.  I did not see any of them goofing off and or wasting time.  Every worker was very polite which surprised me just because I have heard other people stories that did not go as well as mine.  Third day they did the trim and the door.  They staid an extra 2.5 hours that day so they would not have to bother me on a saturday, that is the only day that I have off with me wife, that was very appreciated.  
Every day they cleaned up their mess and even when we were doing the walk around the foreman or lead of the crew was pointing out little tiny messes that I was not noticing.  He had his crew fix them immediately the attention to detail was very appreciated.  I would love for more people to use them.  I had a great experience and I wish I could afford them to do the inside.  I will be recommending them to any one and every one I know.

They completed the job in a timely manner. They were prompt and did an excellent job.

They did great. They did it at the price they said they would do it for, which was fine and not really low; I would have liked to have gotten it for a lesser price. I received other bids, and they were right there with other people. They completed the work really quick; I think they brought a lot of people with them once they got started. I was concerned that the lives of the tenants would be disrupted, but they were really wonderful about that. I was very happy working with them as well as with the way that the work turned out. The house looks great. I would rate them highly and would absolutely recommend them.

We like working with them. When they say they are going to get something done, they get it done. They are very hard workers. The quality of their work is very good. They stay right within the price that they estimate. They come over and look at what needs to be done before doing it. They also confirm with me what they are doing.

They did a good job and I don?t have any complaints about them. I would suggest selecting the colors before they are applied to the doors. We did that in some cases and not in others and one of the colors didn?t come out the way we hoped it would.

They were very prompt and clean. They were willing to fix anything that I did not like. They were communicative and delightful. I did not appreciate the way they were talking to each other.
