This was the worst experience ever !! this man was hired at the recommendation of one of the house cleaning services ,on Angie's list. He started on time but what was supposed to take 2-3 weeks , was left badly done in >3 mos. This person gave confusing multiple invoices, Started with an estimate of $12000. we did make changes like sheet rocking one wall that had siding and to put a trim around windows like the rest of the house. . He made wrong assessments, so the fireplace in the adjoining room had to be ducted out in a way more complex and expensive manner... left everything dirty, still have cans of paint lying around,, never picked up after his work, didn't seal the floor... wood ledge finished with scratches, I wish I could attach the pictures of the surface... small cabinets under the ledge nothing like what we asked for. Doors were to be sliders, now are flat regular doors w/o any knobs, no way to pull them open... .. inner side of cabinets has torn up floor, all 2x2s exposed, unfinished. .... said one kitchen hood needed different ducting for it to work, God knows what he did, no difference to the hood exhaust or noise, .... when informed him, he said he did not say it was going to work , just did the job.......broke a bunch of concrete tiles in the process that needed replacing, ... didn't pay the cabinet maker but forwarded our email so we could be threatened with a lien........ Don't even know if anything has been done to code.... won't return calls, ... last time came when I was sick, didn't walk through anything, didn't check with us , shabbily finished within 2 hrs and left . This man never honored his verbal commitment, said something did something else.. so this 20 x 10 ft sunroom has cost (including the pending invoice) $140 per sq ft when the floor, side, roof -- everything was already there. and looks awful, the kitchen hood vent remains a problem. ...
