They did get the job done, but the contractor made me cry. It was a nightmare.

Allen came to my house on first thing in the morning and was able to get to my AC unit outside, he quickly realized I had a blown capacitor which was an easy fix, however in the middle of the summer it is an item that was out of stock at a lot of home improvement stores.  Luckily he had one on his truck, he installed it and my AC was back on in minutes.
I have the American Home Shield warranty so I only have to pay for the service call charge.  He was extremely friendly and nice to my dog too.
Being that it is the summer time and they are very busy with AC problems they were able to get me scheduled within a week.  I am a very happy customer.

We used Temp-A-Cure because of our home maintenance insurance contract. We had an inoperable geothermal unit. Temp-A-Cure eventually fixed it but it took a period of six months. Three years later (2014) we contacted them for routine service check. My wife stayed home to wait for them. They did not show up or call. When she called them, they explained that clients with inoperable furnaces get first priority and because we were ok , we were not prioritized. We rescheduled the visit the second time; again they did not show up or call. My wife called them and explained her frustration of waiting all day for a company that doesn't come. Again the story about non functioning furnaces taking priority. We scheduled a third time (today December 19). I stayed home and waited for the arrival time between 12 and 2 pm. At 3 PM, no call and No tempaCure. I called their office number and got an answering service that said office is closed but she did not know if they had service agents out. I waited until 4 pm and then called Fire and Ice Heating to schedule a visit. In contrast, the person at Fire and Ice (George) asked me if I wanted him to come out today. fyi, Fire and Ice requires you to go through a group called Home Advisor in Golden Colorado which attempts to line the caller up with other contractors they might need.
I cannot find a single positive review for temp-a-cure on Yelp or Angie's list, what is the purpose of these postings?
FYI....I missed the opportunity to accompany my family and grandchildren to the airport to see them off for their holiday trip just waiting for these rude, unprofessional people to show up. Where is Kramer with his cable man vendetta when I need him?

...However once he left, he never sent a bid, as he promised, and never
returned calls or emails, despite three separate tries on my behalf to
contact them. Very unprofessional. Our furnace and AC are both 23 years
old and will likely need to be replaced within the next year. We will
not be contacting Temp-a-cure for any future work.

ld We were referred to Temp-a-Cure by our home warranty company. We had a flood from a leak from our furnace that caused damage to the room where the furnace is located, as well as the adjoining rooms. Temp-a-Cure was initially helpful in setting an appointment and the technician and company owner, Alan, arrived promptly at the scheduled time. At the time of the visit, we had commercial blowers working to resolve the water damage. Alan did some diagnostic stuff and was unable to determine what the issue may be but suspected it was something to do with the p-trap and indicated he would be back the next day. He left the a/c running and didn't tell us that. Several hours later, I returned home, noticed the cool air coming from the vent and discovered it flooding again. I tried to contact the company unsuccessfully despite several calls. The home warranty company then gave me Alan's cell phone number and I spoke to him. He asked me to send him video, which I did, and said he would have to call the manufacturer but would be back the next day. At 11 am, I had not heard from him. I called the office and they said they would send a technician (different one) out between 12-1pm and then amended it to say 1-ish. I said I was extremely unhappy about the subsequent damage they caused that was resulting in me having to pay for additional drying days with the water restoration company and that I needed a timeframe that was firm, especially since it is the hottest week of the year and I have no a/c. I told them 12-1 was fine so long as it was 12-1 and not "maybe" 12-1 pm. They refused. We have chosen not to have them back out as I have little confidence they know what they are doing and they refused to take responsibility for the subsequent damage they caused.
