As we live way, way, out we expect delays of all our service providers. Construction Specialties performed well and had overall great communications on the status of where our project fit into their master schedule. Good quality of work and responsive to any changes that we wanted to perform.

Scott Richards is the owner of this company. I have used them a couple of times. They have remodeled an old Victorian home for me and did a great job. Last summer they replaced 10 windows in my primary residence, replaced the dry rot and rebuilt windows. He does a great job and he is very meticulous. He does a little of everything and if he cannot do it he sub contracts it to others. He is not really quick so one need to be patient but he cleans up every day very neatly. They are super nice people and do a great job. He lets you know of something that I am not aware of and he will give you options. There is no pressure sales instead they would suggest what they have and what I would like to do. He leaves it me. He is dead honest. Price wise he is very reasonable.

The Richards responded quickly to my bid request. I got a very well priced proposal by email in just a couple days. They did the all the work listed above in a timely manner with an attention to detail that was notable. They were pleasant to have around, kept a tidy work space and never left without completely cleaning up the work area. They were available by phone nearly always and returned messages promptly. There was an item that needed to be ordered and during the two week wait they checked in often. I was so happy with their work I asked them to come back for a second smaller project involving siding and trim.
