"Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with our previous service on your ductless heat pump systems. In reviewing the notes on your account, I see that we installed your systems in September of 2011. There is a service note about a dripping indoor unit. I see that we came out the same day you called to remedy the issue. We called you to schedule a maintenance on your new systems in July of 2012. You called us to cancel that appointment and did not reschedule until we called you in March of 2013. After multiple phone calls, your service was scheduled for May of 2013. In regards to your comment about a damaged bookcase, you contacted our office on July 1, of 2013 and mentioned the unit was leaking; however, you were going on vacation and would not be back for over a week. We scheduled your FREE visit for July 10, 2013 AFTER you would be back from your trip. We did not hear from you again until November of 2014 and our office was not notified of any permanent damage to the bookcase. We were contacted on November 17th for insufficient heat on one of your systems. This was after a weekend of unseasonably cold temperatures. Your service was scheduled for Wednesday, November 19th as your other system was providing you with heat. Also, this service was performed at NO COST to you even though your labor warranty expired back in 2012. On December 14th, we were called back out to your home where our technician found that the compressor on one of your systems had failed. Again, this diagnostic service was performed at NO COST to you. The compressor was replaced on December 17th and you were charged for our technician’s 4 hours of labor to make that repair. After replacing the compressor, our technician found both of your systems operating normally. In over 3 years of serviceable life, your systems underwent one preventative maintenance visit. We recommend a precision tune-up on a ductless heat pump system every 6 months… With regular maintenance, ductless systems operate more efficiently and the components do not have to work as hard to maintain the desired set temperatures. If you choose to switch to another dealer for your maintenance needs, we completely understand; however, please be certain to be diligent in scheduling those tune-ups every 6 months. Your systems and your electric bill will thank you. If we can be of any further assistance to you, feel free to contact us. If not, we thank you for your past business and wish you well. Mahalo!"
"Thanks [Member name removed]! We appreciate your business and the positive feedback. Please let us know when you are ready to schedule a Precision Tune-up on your system or if you have any other needs. Mahalo! :)"
presentation of the project requirments and a cost estimate. He also
coordinated the required electrical upgrades.
The work started on time and finished in two days. The technicians, Justin and Jeff, were on time, knowledgeable, courteous (including tolerating the family dog), and kept us fully informed as to the details.
Brandon inspected the completed work and filled out the forms for the rebates.
We are completely satisfied with the heat pump system and service provided by Mahalo and we highly recommend them.
Mahalo is also going to process the paperwork for my energy insentive/rebate for the furnace.
