Some portions of the work are acceptable, but not exceptional in any way, and certainly lack what I consider to be fine finishing. Other portions (surfaces), however, are substandard and unacceptable. These surfaces have poor coverage from the painting product that was used, which was Opex lacquer, and the wood grain is quite visible and unattractive, whereas, in other areas it is fairly well concealed. In other words, the cabinet, drawer, and door surfaces are inconsistent in appearance and, therefore, the work is substandard. After only one month following completion of this project, some of the lacquer that was applied to the wood is wearing off and the dark oak is quite visible. There is one small section to the bottom portion of the cabinets that was missed altogether and some of the kick boards have extremely poor coverage of the product. Needless to say, my husband and I will never consider hiring Heritage Painting for another project.
