He never did the work and did not return our deposit. Subsequently, in talking to other contractors and vendors, we found out that he has done this numerous times. I also met other people, through the countractors that he has done this to.

Worst nightmare. Unbelievably horrible experience. We paid for Kitchen Cabinets in April 2015 and hardwood flooring in June 2015. We were promised 4-6 weeks for our kitchen cabinets and 1-2 weeks for flooring. In late June we began inquiring about our kitchen cabinets and he told us Canyon Creek was being difficult and recommended a local cabinet maker. He said he was awaiting a refund from Canyon Creek. Of course this made us curious and we called the Canyon Creek credit manager. They never received payment so our cabinets were never started. He also refused to provide us proper documentation that an order for flooring was ever made. When confronted, he blames everyone else including us. We've been asking for a refund since July but he refuses to give it to us. We filed a police report and are now filing a lawsuit in an attempt to get our money back.

The management of the project was confusing. Installation lacked the professionalism of past tiling jobs.

total nightmare started in May 2013 and is still a work in progress, I have turned it over to the license and bonding  board.  Owner told me not to contact him again.  It was supose to be a 3 day project once it finally started it took 15 days to complete.  Not finished yet 1/22/14  counters still not set right, sink has to still be replaced. Owner told me neither he nor his contractor knew how to put in that type of counter he only offers them so people who cannot afford granit he can still do a remodle for them, so I am on my own to figure it out.  Not only bad service but also caused alot of friction between me and my husband when it comes to getting it fixed.  He wants to pay someone to come in and do it right, I feel general interiors was paid for a service and they should have came though with that service, I feel I shouldn't have to pay another contractor.
