Bailey Veterinary

They pretended they would help my dog but when I got there I couldn't get care credit which I had already told them. They implied they would work with me. 30 mins one way mind you. But refused to help her because they said she needed bloodwork, imaging and i.v."s and I only had $165 on me and my debit card for paydays. They kept her from getting help. Looked at her did nothing and charged me for there 5 mins of time $125. Sent her home. No help! I could've taken her to the Southern clinic off exit 33 and gotten her help but they lied to me! Decietful and ugly!

I have used them my whole life.  My parents used them as I was growing up too.  It was an expensive visit.   They are great.  They are your typical vet.  I would absolutely use them again.

I would highly recommend Bailey's. It's a little bit more expensive than some of the others but they're the best equipped veterinary service here in the valley. They're absolutely excellent.

. Compassionate professional care. In past they have put down two older suffering animals...... Very sensitive to the animal and myself. Very pleased with them.

 The service was provided at this veterinarian office grooming shop.  My niece works there and is the groomer for my dogs, but was not at work due to recently having given birth.  All I needed on the day of my visit was a trim for the face of my small hairy dog and I didn't have an appointment.  The groomers working that day, kindly provided the service for a very minimal charge and also did the same for the other pup I had in tow that morning and they trimmed the nails  and took the hair out of their ears too!  The groomers were very personable & super good with the dogs.  I think I got the family discount, as there was no charge that day, but I did leave a tip.  I'm sure this was an exception, but it displays their outstanding service and professionalism!

Horse was better by morning.

Our dog died. There is NO EXCUSE for Bailey's letting my husband and dog (with an open scar from chest to tail) sit in that waiting room for hours. When the first doctor looked at the dog he told us he needed to be stitched up immediately. That didn't happen. We were sent home. We were told that they and quot;didn't have anyone to stay late that night.and quot; REALLY? Bailey's has a large staff. The cost is always passed on to the client. That's an unacceptable excuse. I have 3 horses, 8 cats and I had 2 dogs. I spare no expense on my animals. Although it was no easy task to find new vets for all my animals, the peace of mind was worth the effort. I will never set foot in Bailey's again.
Dr. Mary Herrera at Sutherlin Vet has done a fantastic job for me with dogs and cats. She also cares for horses. Unlike Bailey's, you are not rushed through in 3 minutes. Dr. Mary gives you the time you and your pet need. She will leave no stone unturned and will work for you until she finds the CORRECT answer. Dr. Gene Koo Kang, from Oakland, came out for an equine emergency and did a fantastic job for us. We had a cougar out here and our young horse ran right through a fence. When we found him he was down, in shock, and had sustained several serious injuries. Dr. Gene made it to our isolated ranch in record time, had a mobile x-ray machine, and was able to get the horse up, x-rayed, shaved, cleaned and stitched under some pretty terrible and quot;out in the fieldand quot; conditions. That horse recovered beautifully - and I can't even find the scars. Nice stitching job, Dr. Gene!
Bailey's has several doctors - the problem is- the vast difference in skill level between the doctors. I also still can''t ' believe that the staff at Bailey's let my poor dog sit in that waiting room for hours - and then sent him home. Never Again.

Outstanding. Always punctual. Always forthright. Always totally honest with us. They're just wonderful. They're marvelous. They couldn't be any better.

Had to put our 15 year old cat to sleep (we had had KIrby since he was 4 weeks old). One of the absolutely hardest things we have ever done. The staff was beyond kind, considerate, and professional. They made our last moments with our boy bearable despite the utter sadness of the situation. We chose to have Kirby cremated and again the staff at Baileys was respectful and professional when we picked up the ashes. Best vet practice in the Roseburg area.

Bailey's took extra care with my Maltepoo Rocky. He sustained a back injury and wasted no time in getting him in, doing xray's, evaluating and diagnosing his problem. They referred Rocky to an extraordinary surgeon in Springfield that performed surgery immediately. My sweet boy is now fully recovered and back to his old self! I am forever grateful to Bailey's and Oregon Veterinary Referral Associates' Dr. Csiszer for saving my sweet little Rocky back to us.

They have a large staff and they handle large and small animals. They are very responsive.
