Excellent! This was a two-visit project, due to drying time, to repair the hole and to prepare it for the painter. Jim was punctual, communicated well by phone and pleasant. We look forward to finishing our unpacking from the garage so he can prepare the entire interior for the painter.

Jim did a great job. He matched the ceiling texture well. He was prompt with the the bid. He showed up exactly when he said he would. He is very friendly. I would recommend him and will use him again as I need drywall work.

Jim did an excellent work, First he promptly answered all calls and was always on time if not early. We had damage to three rooms with one area where one contractor had put a foot through the ceiling from the attic. That area also had popcorn texture which we wanted removed. He offered suggestions and explained reasons for his ideas. Work was done in an expedient manner. Would definitely use him again

Jim is very busy, but when he says he will be there he is. His work is good and fast. His price is reasonable and fair. I have used him three times and will use him again. He uses drop cloths, protects things in the process and has a great attitude.

We had a toilet leak upstairs and fixed the leak by a plumber. He made a hole in the ceiling.
We called Jim and called back in a few days, gave us a bid, explained how he were going to fix. He was reliable, kept his promise.
His work was also excellent. We would hire him again in the future, very happy with his work.

The service was excellent. He gave me an estimate. He was able to point things out to me that needed to be addressed. He completed the work as promised. He was perfect. It was nice because I found him on Angie's List, and I feel that he was great. He was very prompt. He could not have done better. I would highly recommend him to a friend. I think he did an excellent job, the quality of his work was excellent, and his professionalism was excellent as well.

Hired J Jackson Drywall to do a 3+ smooth finish with bull nose corners on my new construction studio / shop. Excellent work and nice guys! Jim hurt his finger (unrelated) early on but the job was finished by his business partner with excellent results! Highly recommend these guys for their expertise and professionalism. Hired them per hour at $40 per hour per man as I had already ordered my materials thinking I was going to do the job myself with a couple of carpenters. They work hard and fast and earn their good hourly wage. Sure glad I hired pros instead of trying to struggle through this myself as I have done in the past! I must be getting a little smarter in my old age. Or maybe I just have a little more money now. Hire these guys, you wont be disappointed!

Jim did great work and was clean, reliable and responsive. Stayed on budget and showed showed up when he said he would. We had stripped our 700 sq. ft. vacation rental back to bare studs on the wall and ceiling, and Jim did full drywall job (hang, tape, texture) on the home. It turned out beautifully. I had Jim come over and do some patch work at my primary residence that had been botched by a previous contractor, and he was able to match the existing texture perfectly. Fast, efficient and affordable. There is no question why he is the top drywall contractor on Angies List.

I had to have a new shower glass door installed and no one was sure what the backing or stud situation was behind the wall, so I called Jim to come out, open up the wall and put in a stud, if needed. He cut out a perfectly aligned opening from floor to ceiling, took pictures of the inside wall with measuring tape (I wasn't home, so this helped tremendously), realized no new stud was needed, so he closed it back up, seamlessly, let it dry for a few days (checking back in to ensure complete drying), then returned to texture, covering everything around the work area to eliminate any spattering. While here, I showed him a crack in the kitchen wall, and he gladly fixed that while he was here, no extra charge.
Jim did an expert job, he was professional, friendly, customer oriented, and I would hire him again in an instant. The painter who came after Jim was completed remarked what a professional job the drywaller had done and asked who he was for future purposes!

We live 200 miles from our 2nd home located in Southern Oregon. We received a call from our daughter who had gone by to check on the house. Hysterically, she told me our home was flooded. Both bathroom toilets were leaking from the wall. The upstairs master bathroom is directly over the family room downstairs. The ceiling had collasped into the family room, mold had enveloped the walls and floors. The upstairs was in a similar situation. We immediately notified a company who came in and removed majority of drywall, both toilets, all the flooring (new), carpeting in bedrooms, and subsequently dried the home out. Our second job was to find someone to put in new insullation and drywall. We located Jim on Angie's List and set up a time to meet with him. Jim seemed undaunted by the enormity of the damage and said he would he e-mail us an estimate. We felt Jim's estimate was more than reasonable and his knowledge and professionalism above reproach. Throughout the job, Jim both called, texted and sent us numerous pictures so so we could see how his work was progressing. My husband and I were at a loss for words when Jim completed the job. His skill, couple with his focus on detail, matching texture to the walls that still partially remained, gave us the first vision that our home would and could be restored. There are really not enough adjectives for us to express our gratitude to Jim. Also, would like to add, he completed this work without the benefit of indoor plumbing or heat during the cold of Nov. and Dec. Those jobs to be started after the walls were repaired. I do not know how far Jim travels from his home work base, but I do know anyone living in Jackson or Josephiine Counties, need look no further if you are in need of Jim's skill package. Count yourself fortunate. He is in your backyard. Lastly, as my husband and I live and work in the northern part of the state, Jim started and completed this job without us being on site. If trust is important in your choice of professionals, go no further. Again Jim, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the exemplary job you did for us.

It went very well. We are dust adverse and he took that into account. He covered everything with drop cloths each day and cleaned up thoroughly. We discussed different options and gave us a price for each approach. One can tell by his work and his approach that he has a great deal of experience in his craft and in dealing with people.

Best choice I could have mede. He is a real professional, prefectionist and prompt worker who came every day and wouldn't stop until it was all perfect. My new garage/shop looks as good as a house. I will be calling him again for any of my drywall needs in the future. Best not only in quality but also had the best price.

The job entailed sheet rocking and painting over a lath and plaster wall that had plaster pieces falling out from under torn wallpaper. I feel comfortable that the job Jim did for me met and exceeded the industry standard. He did exactly what I asked him to do, and where he was unsure, he would ask me in order to clarify any details that were not clear to him. Overall I am very pleased with his work.

Jim showed up right on time and went to work installing the sheet rock in three different locations. He taped all joints and corners and applied the first coat of plaster, as per agreement Jim came back the next day for sanding and the second coat. The third day Jim came back to texture the new walls which involved matching texture to the existing walls. The quality of the job is excellent, his cleanup is meticulous, and he is punctual as always. We can state this because this is the fifth time Jim has done drywall work for us since 2008, including a major remodeling of the kitchen, dining room and laundry room in 2010, this incorporated exposed beams and a raised ceiling in the kitchen. (we have attached a photo of the exposed beams in the new kitchen.. he even took care to make certain that the sheetrock was fitted precisely above the bolts)Jim's work is neat, precise, and looks beautiful, the texture is very uniform and we highly recommend him.

We decided to move a window and sliding glass door in our master bedroom. This required some sheet rock repair. Since Jim does all of my sheet rock work for my remodeling business, well...........who do think I'm gonna call. Jim is the third drywall professional I have used in my remodeling business. I have worked with the lowest priced with varying degrees of quality and another that billed out at $100 per hour for him and his son. Jim is reasonably priced and the quality is consistently good. Whatever size the job. Jim will take good care of you.
