I have a very complicated oil fired burner / hot water / heat exchanger system installed approximately 15 years ago.  The original company that installed it has disavowed any desire to ever work on it again.  I have a great oil fired burner specialist (Jefferson Heating) for the hot water part of the system, but nobody willing to take on the Lennox air handler / heat exchanger - until Dallas Heating & Sheet Metal answered the phone last week and offered to come out and take a look.  
The owner and one of their best techs came out last Thursday to look the system over.  Once we discussed that I was fine with them only dealing with the air handler, and that they are not an authorized Lennox shop (i.e. can't get the Lennox discounts), Scott the tech spent about an hour going through the system, and identified a blown capacitor in the motor controller as the culprit.   By Friday Scott had located the part, and the unfortunate fact that Lennox doesn't sell just the capacitor but the entire unit ($430).  That is still cheaper than replacing the whole system so we gave them the go ahead to order the part.  
This morning Scott was out on here on time and had everything put reassembled (including hooking up my IRIS thermostat to the 24v common power) in about an hour.  We reviewed what I needed to do in order to get the electronic air cleaner unclogged and working again (my decision to DIY).
I dealt mostly with Donna and Scott, both were very pleasant to deal with and patient with my own messed up schedule this week!  I will definitely be calling on them again for future maintenance on the air handler.

Our installation included removing old electric air handler, heat pump and pad, and thermostat and replacing all with upgraded equipment, plus air filter. We have been happy with the installation, the upgraded equipment, and the accessibility and easy communicating and response with Donna and the employees. They are dedicated to doing quality work and making sure their customers are satisfied, even making several trips to make adjustments when necessary. We would highly recommend them if you value a very professional, personal, and thorough service.

They were a great company. I rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

John encountered several problems getting the system to work but persisted through those and managed to get everything working properly. His staff had to work additional days beyond the scope of his bid to remedy unforeseen problems. John stood by his bid and did not assess additional charges for the extra project work. His staff was very courteous, supportive, and professional throughout the entire project. I would highly recommend his company for heating or air conditioning work to anyone.
