Painted over some bubbled paint instead of scraping and repairing despite me pointing it out and requesting that it be fixed. While it was not specifically stated, I assumed the old siding that was removed from the house would be hauled away. Not only was it left lying around, but it has nails still sticking up that nearly stuck in my foot when I stepped on the debris they left behind. The exterior of the house has what I can only describe as "steaks" where you can clearly see the swath his paint sprayer took with each pass.

Vern pulled up our carpet and linoleum downstairs and laid beautiful laminate wood floors. I've never been more pleased. I would hire him again for any job and would recommend him to anyone needing work done. He worked quickly and his price was dead on what he said it would be. I'm so excited at the look of my home.

It took him only 2 days to build, set and paint a patio cover in the back yard. It looks original to the house and keeps the house so much cooler. We are very pleased with the results and would use him again for any work around our house.

I called Vern Wednesday, last week and he started the job the next day. He is very professional, courteous, and quick. He listened to my wishes and added his professional opinion when I asked for it. He let me know what would and wouldn't work. He cleaned up after himself so each night he left the area clean. It took him a week and a half to complete the job. (It would have been a day sooner, but he spent the 4th of July with his family.) I cried when I saw the finished product. It is so beautiful. It's very difficult for me to describe my thoughts, but he read my mind. It is just perfect. Now that that job is finished, we are having him install a patio cover in the back yard (he's working on that as I type) and then he will install hardwood floors. I would definitely recommend him and his crew to anyone needing a general contractor. He's a pleasure to have around. I want to upload a picture of the work, but I don't know how to.

He was absolutely wonderful. He is very good at answering your questions or helping you with decisions, even paint colors. He will be honest about whether he thinks it will work or not. Price wise, he was not the cheapest or most expensive, and was sort of in the middle. For what he did, I think the price was excellent. He and his coworker are very personable. They are very nice and neat. They clean up after themselves. He is very good at explaining the process and letting you know if there will dust or anything like that. We have since talked with him about some other projects that we will hire him for, like a kitchen remodel that we are planning on.
