He showed up on a Saturday morning an hour after I left a message that I had an emergency: burst sewer pipe in the basement. He identified that the section of pipe was ancient (100-year-old house) and had been stop-gap repaired before and was only going to cause more problems. He estimated $500 for the whole section to be refitted, but said he was booked out for several months and he generally specialized in new piping, not repairs. But to give me a few months to find another plumber and budget for the work, he did a better stop-gap fix and also snaked the rest of the drain. He did at least an hour of messy work on very short notice and only charged $75! On two previous occasions he had done small, easy jobs (fix a leaky toilet, install a faucet and drain) and was always friendly, professional, cleaned up any mess, and charged very little. I STRONGLY recommend Jeff!
