of my house, my husband and I are very happy with are new door.
I ordered these doors trough Costco Kiosk which got me a 15% discount. The salesman came to my house on 4/22/15, measured the garage door openings, wrote down the type of door and window placement, and charged the credit card. A few days later I received an automated call advising of a number to call to set up an installation date. I called that number and talked to Megan and set up an installation date of 5/14/15 between 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. with an advisory call one hour prior to arrival. On 5/14, waited all day. No one showed up. No one called.
On 5/15, I called the 800 number provided by the automated message. I was told by Mumble Mumble that she had called twice on the 13th. She said the phone rang and rang and rang and then hung up. I assumed that there may have been some problem with my answering machine, so I called my daughter and my brother to see if they were having any problems leaving a message on my machine. No problems with them.
Mat Llewellyn called from the Portland office responding to my e-mail. He had no problem reaching my answering machine. He advised that he would have his top installer come to my house first on the new installation date (5/14 between 8 and 12) and bring a can of lubricant for the door.
Mat Fisher arrived about noon, getting here first after the other house he went to first. The original bottom seal didn't seal to the floor, so, he replaced it with a larger seal. He closed the door and left. (No lubricant.)
I brought my wife out to see how it was working. The black bottom seal popped to the outside of the white perimeter seal leaving a black stain. I centered the bottom seal and duct taped both sides to keep it inside the garage. I suppose I should call to get this fixed, but, I hate the idea of waiting for them to possibly show up.
The door works great!
