+ -1 moreI made the appointment on Monday and the soonest call was first thing Wed morning. The electrician was on time. We quickly started troubleshooting the problem and realized that there was a gfi tripped in one of our rooms. We felt pretty silly for calling, but he acknowledged the GFI was in a strange place and did it's job. After putting everything back, he helped me troubleshoot a couple of other issues that we can now address on our own.
Description of Work: We had a section of our power within one circuit go out when my husband was replacing a switch. Also, had some flickering lights.

Description of Work: The provider paced in front of the fridge like that was going to fix the problem. I told the manager what had happened and he did nothing to fix the problem. They did not confirm exactly what I wanted done when they came. They started taking my outlets apart and drilling holes.

+ -1 moreI called Willamette Electric about the problem that showed up in an inspection report. Time was of the essence. They were at the home the next day. It's very difficult to get contractors to quote jobs this time of year. They provided a bid and completed the work within a couple of days. As usual, they beat my expectations on responsiveness and quality of work done at a very fair price.
Description of Work: Replaced electrical panel in the garage at one of my listings.

+ -1 moreThe owner actually came out to speak with me and was very understanding, his son was part of the duo of knuckleheads let loose..after my complaint one afternoon the following morning I woke to all my palm plants stolen from in front of my home. The previous day knucklehead #1 wanted all sorts of information on those palm plants as he needed them for his new yard...just makes you wonder. They are not meant for residential use.
Description of Work: I hired this company who had done work on a master suite remodel while the home was unoccupied and the job was a reconstruction, basically an empty construction zone. When I rehired them again to handle my kitchen remodel after an entire demolition. This was now a family occupied home with children and pets. I spent hours on the lighting design with one of their employees. When two workers arrived to start work they said they had no lighting design...another three hours of my time going through this and the process of having to work with these two jokers began. They were filthy, never cleaning up any debris, blasting their radios like it was a commercial site. I went grocery shopping and returned home with a truckload from Costco and they had decided to park in my driveway to eat lunch. I am disbaled and have children, you NEVER block a private driveway out of respect for the owner's personal entry and in case of an emergency. This job went on and on as they continued to leave unfinished work and failed several inspections. They stomp around never taking care to worry about your floors. When I asked them to please pick up after themselves I found an expensive shopping bag filled with items and a receipt for returning them filled with their garbage and wiring debris. I am still finding piles of sawdust from their drilling behind cabinets. The custom cabinets were painted by a wonderful company, Sundeleaf, and the idiots consistently would just drop their tools on the fresh paint after returning to complete the job. My advice? If you are a commercial space and don't mind their mess, their noise, their unprofessionalism they may work for you..but..NEVER LET THEM INTO YOUR RESIDENTIAL HOME.

+ -1 moreOne evening, our electric dryer stopped running. The dryer circuit would not reset. Willamette Electric answered the phone at 7:30 the next morning and came out at 8:30 one day later. The problem, a faulty circuit breaker, was quickly identified and repaired.

I was a little surprised at the difference between the quoted price of $350 and what the actual price was. He told me when he presented the bill.

+ -1 moreTHEY'RE HARD TO GET BECAUSE THEY ARE SO BUSY, BUT THEY ARE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO. I'M SURE THAT THERE ARE UNION WAGES FOR ELECTRICIANS, SO I DON'T THINK THAT'S ANYTHING THEY CAN HELP, BUT THEY WERE A LITTLE EXPENSIVE. THEY ARE REPUTABLE.
