2022 Update - from 5 start to 1. They used to be incredibly accountable, but over the last year they've taken a nose dive. I've hired them to do two more projects, one for my sick brother, one for myself. The one for myself was about a $4k project installing sonos all around my house. The bought and delivered the Sonos. One of the big sound bars was broken. They were supposed to replace. That was 6 months ago. At first he was keeping me updated and then he slowly stopped responding, then just texting and giving excuses. Now we even have issues with the work they provided being unstable connection, didn't fall best practices with the product, etc. He has $850 of mine and has no gone completely dark and will not respond or answer my texts. I would not trust this company with my money or my family. It's so sad to watch someone completely ruin their own good name and reputation like this. I've heard his work is suffering from two of my friends that used him as well.

The guy that showed up was fine. Was to get replacement parts for Bose speaker wire. I have called 4 times in 2 weeks and no one will call me back . I left messages with a real person each time but to no avail.

It went smoothly and professionally. The technicians knew what they are doing. It helps.

Tyson has done an excellent job in installing my wide screen and sound system. And his follow up on any service call has also been top notch

Tyson was great from his initial bid to project completion. His team was in and out in half a day, and their work was impeccable. They made sure I understood how everything worked before they left and even reprogrammed my remote control. It's so nice to have everything in an AV closet instead of taking up a bunch of space on the floor in an entertainment center!

On time, on budget, quick and neat; made extra effort to match conduit with wall color, and did the job on short notice day before Thanksgiving; highly recommend

I thought I hit the jackpot with this company. They came out the next day of calling for service. They worked fast and very efficiently. Nice Nice guys. They surveyed the stereo closet where the two tv's and dvd boxes as well as receiver were housed. Not a pretty site. They got both systems working and I was one happy person. I asked about any further work that could be done to allow me to access my other tv apps as well as music. I got a bid a few days later & was ok with it. they came out that week and boy do I have a rocking system. High tech all in one remote and firestick. I even have the outdoor speakers working now. Can't say enough great things about the whole experience. You'll be so satisfied with their work and professionalism.

Very professional and detailed install. These are the guys who do $10,000 home theater systems. I am the kind of guy who buys a TV and sound bar at Costco and puts them on a stand. I needed a professional install because the best place to put the TV was mounted on a stacked stone fireplace. I felt like I got good value for the responsiveness and quality of work Tyson Whiteside delivered. I called and sent e-mail asking for a quote in the afternoon. Tyson responded later in the afternoon and offered to come out and give an estimate that evening. He came out at the scheduled time. Estimate was a fair price and he was able to schedule the work the next afternoon. 3 guys came out and did the work. They provided the mount, provided the infrared repeater, provided the cables they used. They installed the mount securely on a stacked stone fireplace, mounted the TV and the Sound bar on the same mount to minimize holes and placed the game system remote sensor between the Sound bar and the TV to give an integrated appearance. They threaded the HDMI cables between the TV and cabinet through existing wiring tubes and used existing wiring to the mount the speakers on the ceiling. Power was already installed in position for the TV. They optimized the communication between TV and sound bar so control is a bit simpler than before. They reviewed with me control of the sound bar so I could optimize subwoofer and rear speaker power and they reviewed control of the inputs so I could program the universal remote. They certainly could have done the optimization and programming, but I wanted to keep the cost down.

We had Tyson Whiteside Audio Video in for a TV mounting job. The quote was prompt, and when I asked for a change, the updated quote was delivered within a day. The crew showed up on time, did a great job, and the price was reasonable. The crew was friendly, courteous and professional, and they clearly knew what they were doing. We will definitely have them back for our home theater installation when we remodel the room. 

The crew was very friendly and professional. These guys are real pros. They created a custom mount to hang my sound bar under my TV. It was a corner mount project, and it looks great! All the wires are hidden away in the back, and it just looks like my TV is floating there in space! I got a call that they were ahead of schedule and could come by earlier. I tried to time it so I'd get home from work about the same time as they got here, but they beat me. They were very patient as I wrangled up my dogs so they could start working. When I was getting the quote, Tyson has mentioned that he noticed my disabled veterans plates, asked if I had served, and offered a veterans discount. It came out to a little over 10%. They have great deals on mounts, I wish I had known that before I bought my tv mount, but they did give me a discount for having my own mount. I'm very happy with the service I received, and I'll definitely be recommending them. I should also add, I live about 30 miles south of Portland. Most of the other companies I contacted wanted $150 or more just to show up to my house. Tyson didn't charge any extra at all! Definitely a plus in my book! Do your research, get estimates, but in the end, I'm sure you'll be giving Tyson a call.

Tyler and his team were punctual, professional, and did an incredible job.  They were also very responsive with any questions we had.  We will continue to use them for our future home theater needs.

Tyson was the greatest from our first meet through to the go-live of our system. He was punctual, knowledgeable and so accommodating of our existing system and how he worked all that into the project. All his recommends came true and we now have such a great audio-video system in our home. His crew,consisting of Cole and Alan were so great. They worked quickly and were patient in helping us understand how everything worked. We now have ONE remote! They were careful of our home and were meticulous in the cleanup. They are "Our Guys" now, according to Alan, and we believe him. No hesitation to recommend for your audio/video projects, THEY DELIVER!

They did everything without rush. There was a little bit of complication due to our house design and they were able to work around and the finished product look great. The cable is discreet.

I highly recommend this company for any theater installation.  I purchased a 55" tv that was to be mounted on an uneven stone fireplace.  When Tyson came to look at the fireplace and give an estimate he suggested building a "box" across the fireplace
to mount the tv to, which I liked.  We also discussed mounting my surround sound speakers (which were currently sitting on various pieces of furniture with wires running around window frame and baseboards) and decided on mounting front
speakers on either side of tv.  He was personable and professional the whole way. 
Since I hadn't actually purchased the tv at that point (fluctuating between a couple) he even made a suggestion for a model I hadn't considered.  We scheduled the installation then and there. 
When Scott and Alan came out to install the tv they were also very friendly and personable.  They listened to my concerns/questions and were very responsive.  This was a difficult, all day job.  They installed tv, receiver, dvd player,
surround sound, wii and apple tv.  They stayed until it was completed. 
I then decided to ask them to come back and program a universal remote and install another coax hookup to my roof antenna in a spare bedroom.  Chris and Alan came to do that job and again it was a very pleasant experience.
I can't say enough great things about Tyson and his crew.  I received excellent service and everyone I came into contact with was very pleasant to work with and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time.
I am thrilled with the excellent and professional quality of the work and they cleaned up as they went along. 
I would highly recommend this company. You won't be disappointed.

Tyson and his crew were really great. My wife was the only person home during the install, and they were very accommodating. The work was well done, and we couldn't be happier.

Everything works perfectly!  He showed up on time, had all the proper cables, etc.

We had Tyson install a sound bar for one television and hook up an older BOSE sound system on another television.  This is our second time using Tyson Whiteside - the first time they installed 2 flat panel televisions -   70" and a 64". The televisions are both smart TVs so they made sure they synced with the wi-fi and worked before leaving.  We also had them install an infrared remote so we did not have to open our television cabinet to use the cable/dvr box.  
Tyson came out at 6 PM to assess the job and make recommendations both times - his crew showed up next day - on time (even a bit early).  They laid down blankets - brought their own vacuum and cleaned up - we couldn't be happier.

Exceeded expectations!!! Tyson Showed up for same day estimate and quoted a great price and a better deal on the mounting apparatus than i would have gotten at Costco. He then sent three men to my house the very same day to complete the 3 hour job. They did a really great job and left the house in better condition then when they started. Efficient, smart, and courteous, they knew exactly what they were doing even though its an older home that required retrofitting existing infrastructure. I would recommend Tyson Whiteside to anyone looking for top quality home entertainment/digital integration assistance.
