Description of Work: I was really impressed with how professional and knowledgeable Aaron was at Tom Leach. We bought a house with a huge, rotten roof, and it didn't pass inspection. We had a few bids for the job, but Aaron was the only one who looked at it and didn't go into a cold sweat and start freaking out. He simply said, "yep. There's a lot of rot. That means a lot of new material" (soffit, plywood, etc.) But he stayed calm, pointed out the causes of the severe rot, and corrected the mistakes of previous roofers. They did a great-looking roof job, right on time, and worked quickly during a spotty week weather-wise. Upon taking ownership of the house, I have yet to find any debris in the gardens surrounding the house. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: did nothing. Was asking for a repair estimate as I had shingles blow off my roof and wanted it repair before any leakage. Send request for appointment. Could not come out until the following week. Ended up getting another contractor who came out same day I called and began a complete re-roof job the next day. Very pleased with the new contractor who is not on Angie's list

Description of Work: They came promptly in response to our request for an estimate to resurface part of our roof. They were fully professional and their price was in line. We have not had any work done by any contractor.

Description of Work: I have used Tom Leach in the past with a good experience every time. They put a composite shingle roof on a garage for me and performed repairs on my current house (composite shingles) and on my previous house (aluminum shingles). This time I was in the middle of a siding, gutter, and paint job when the lead carpenter recommended a new roof. I went to Leach for a competing bid. Aaron, the owner came by right away, looked over my roof, and confirmed the need to replace it. Then he reviewed the other contractor's detailed bid, gave it a thumb's up on the details and the price. Given that the other contractor was already on site doing a good job, they got the work. I offered to pay Aaron for his time, but was turned down. I had already been recommending Tom Leach to friends as a roofing company. This experience convinced me of their integrity, as well as of the quality of their work.

Description of Work: I called for a skylight, repair of flashing estimate. They returned my phone call, said they would do an estimate but never heard from them again. J. Vaughan Roofing promptly returned phone call so they got my business. I realize my job was not a big job but I did ask if they were interested and they originally said yes.

Description of Work: Although I did not end up hiring Tom Leach roofing, I was extremely impressed with their responsiveness and willingness to provide thorough and detailed information. Their price was a bit higher than the company I ultimately chose, but Aaron, the company representative, went over different options for repair and replacement and was helpful in directing my attention to different aspects of flat roofs. I will certainly contact them again for an estimate for any future roofing needs.

Description of Work: I had a leak in my roof: this company had installed my roof 12+ years ago: They came over and assessed the problem. The person repaired something on the spot and told me what to do to keep my roof in good shape over time. He did not charge me for his services. He was honest, professional and ethical.

Description of Work: Repaired broken cedar shingles, fixed flashing, and cleaned gutters.

Description of Work: We had a roof leak. They replaced some flashing and two "washers" around two pipes on the roof, did the necessary chalking and replaced a exhaust fan.
