The Mold Reporters Inc. 503-887-4800 is your source for environmental inspection and indoor air quality testing in Oregon & Washington. We are not a government agency and we do not offer free services. We offer residential and commercial screenings, water intrusion investigations, and risk assessments. Testing is available for mold, allergens (rodents, feline, canine, dust mites, etc.), sewage, volatile organic compounds (chemicals), formaldehyde, tobacco, fire/soot. We offer air quality, bulk and surface testing services. Our inspections are confidential and discrete, we do not advertise "MOLD" at the inspection site and we will not discuss your report or lab results with any third party without your written consent. We are not remediation contractors - we will not try to sell you repair work. Sampling adheres to strict guidelines by certified consultant. All mold samples are analyzed by a professional, accredited laboratories.

I had some odors coming from my crawlspace so I called Amy and Peter. I got an amazing education as they checked both my crawlspace & my attic. They took photos & wrote a VERY detailed report which I could use to share with an abatement company re: the rodent/small animal problems I had and had no idea were so severe. The tested moldy looking areas and also referred me to abatement companies they trusted. Those companies then said "ah, Mold Reporters, yes, they are very detailed & thorough" and could use that information for bids. Amy & Peter came on time, prepared and were very professional. I would absolutely hire them again. Amy knows so much and sent me links to sites with more information as well, then followed up AFTER I had the remediation done as well as checking in and answering questions I had when I was getting bids. Over & above service!

Doesn't seem concerned with responding in a timely manner or that mold illness is a real thing. Explaining the scope of work and it's purpose is somehow considered rude and threatening.

"To be clear, we did not conduct an inspection for this individual. This person and her caregiver have been harrassing me with negative reviews for my company on multiple sites because I declined to work with them. I am not a physician and do not discuss medical issues. When explaining our approach to environmental evaluation which is proven and conducted under current, recognized standards of practice, they began to become hostile and talked over me, showing doubt in my offering. I told them that I was not comfortable and ended the call. It seems to be their sole ambition to discredit a hard working small business professional."

Amy and Peter were so professional and informative - they did a thorough inspection of the space, tested the mold, offered advice, and contacts for remediation of the mold. Amy seemed very competent and thorough. She went over everything and showed me pictures. She went into the attic and the crawl space and reported what she saw. She is submitting samples tomorrow and said it could take up to a week to get results, then she would send me the final report. I felt I could trust her and am looking forward to getting the final report when the testing is complete. She also was very careful and put everything back the way she had found it.

Very personable. Great service. Great reporting. Backgrounds of the owners in engineering and environmental health gave me extra confidence. Amy suited up and went down in the crawl space and did an amazingly thorough evaluation. I'd recommend them before any new home purchase. Much more thorough inspection than my home inspector! recommendations were sensible and good for my income. No unnecessary testing needed. Had a gadget that monitored humidity and particles that came with the visual inspection. Many years of experience!

Great Experience! I couldn't be happier. Very professional. Knowledgeable. Very responsive to follow up questions and very willing to help. Much much much more thorough than I was expecting. Not inexpensive, but did a much better job at locating and identifying issues than I was expected. Would use again in a heartbeat.

This is a great company. Amy is very knowledgeable and thorough. I was in the middle of a home purchase and needed to get this testing done as soon as possible and she happened to have an opening that same day. The information I learned from the testing was priceless as was their advice. I was also able to call with follow-up questions and advice afterwards which really helped. I'd recommend getting this done before any other inspections if you are purchasing a home and you smell anything or suspect mold issues.
