We worked with Ben at the Kid's Backyard Store and were extremely satisfied with our experience and the final product. We picked out all the features that we wanted and they we able to build it within 2-3 weeks. They had to coordinate delivery and installation with our various other contractors (artificial turf installers, patio cover, etc) and were great. Structure is very high quality and seems to be a good deal for the price we paid. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the future.

Dave came out to meet with us and look at the yard twice before the installation. After the first visit he sent us a sketch of the design and estimate that did not include all of the elements that we requested. However, we decided to go with the slightly scaled down version rather than have him redo the estimate. Our back yard has a slight slope and Dave spent some time figuring out how whether the play structure could be leveled and still allow for a sandbox underneath the tree house. He ultimately said that his son, Ben, who does most of their installations would come out to the property and decide. This did not happen. Ben did call to schedule the installation but he was not aware of the leveling/grading issue. After we discussed over the phone he reassured me that they would dig out and place concrete pavers. The play structure was installed shortly later with concrete pavers resting on top of the ground and thereby protruding into the space where the sandbox should be. I was not comfortable with my 2 year old playing amongst these pavers and complained. They were very responsive and immediately addressed the issue - basically by building the sandbox on top of the pavers (with added support). Their responsiveness to correcting this problem is the main reason that I am giving them an A rating.

We wanted a play structure for our 3 young children. Our backyard has a significant slope. Dave Jubitz offered to come out and look at our yard. He was very punctual and came by within a few days of calling him. He recommended a landscape company to level a portion of our yard (incidentally, the landscape company was excellent and I submitted a report for them as well. Tryon Creek Landscape). He worked with me as well as the landscape company to be ensure our project met my expectations. He came by our property at least 2-3 more times to meet with me and meet with the landscapers. He willingly revised the initial play structure proposal to accommodate some unforeseen changes in the landscaping due to some large boulders. There were a few adjustments we needed for the play structure, and Dave + his staff came back our promptly to address them. Our kids absolutely love the play structure, and my wife and I are happy with how well it blends in with our yard in case we ever sell the house down the road. I also looked at Rainbow play structures. Their prices were similar but one store couldn't send someone out to our property for weeks and the other store was a no-show for an appointment to meet me in my yard. The Kids Backyard Store is the clear choice if you are looking for a higher quality play structure, and especially if you have a yard that isn't flat and requires more personalized service.

I'm writing now (4 years later) because the swing bar became loose over time. We called them to ask how to get it fixed, fully expecting them to refer us to a third party repair person. Not only did they come out within a week to take a look at it, they completely reinforced it with new lumber and hardware and did it at no cost to us. It's rare to have a company stand by the products they sell like this. I recommend them without reservation.

These guys were very easy to work with. They were willing to come out and inspect our lot during evening hours (since I wasn't available during the day). The bill came in at $100 less than the estimate. They saved me a lot of money because they were willing to work with our sloped backyard. The other company I was going to use said that I would need to have the area level before they could install a play structure. Leveling the area using a landscaping company would have cost me an additional $800. The backyard store works with lots of sloped areas, and they are willing to modify the structures to accommodate all types of backyards. My girls couldn't be happier with their new play structure!

Great customer service. A strap was missing from the safety pads after I assembled the trampoline. They were super helpful and delivered the straps to me the same day. Wow, that was great. I will go back if I need more playground, play-structure stuff.
