Job performed as required. Even replaced porch railing and refinished. Courteous, pleasant workers. Excellent cleanup. Expensive but worth it.

The work went very well. The crew was very meticulous and punctual every day. It was a painstaking job to strip the house through the winter, wind, cold or rain, the crew showed up almost every day. Very attentive to details from the stripping to the caulking and priming to ensure a perfect final paint job. My 1893 victorian house looks brand new with beautiful accents. The last day the crew spent on the premises was spent cleaning up, touching up, even the windows and the yard was carefully cleaned. I have recommended Sunrise and Salomon and his crew to friends and neighbors. Also, we decided to have our rental property repainted, with equally satisfactory results.

The crew did an excellent, careful job of painting the interior of our 1927 house. They came early, worked hard, taped and sealed off areas carefully, cleaned up, were respectful and communicated well with me. We are so pleased with the results. Both the woodwork and walls look amazing!

Sunrise Custom was recommended by another painter. Salomon Martinez responded promptly with an estimate including painting a variety of surfaces on exterior of house and garage, replacing porch railings, rotted wood pieces around windows and refinishing two decks. His painters took great care doing thorough prep work and covering plants. After putting in full days for two and half weeks, their finished job looks great. He even replaced a screen that had been torn accidentally without any question. The quality of the work was worth the cost. I would definitely recommend this company.

Our home is very important to us.  We are meticulous people who care about fine details.  For several years we had postponed painting 2 high-use interior rooms and the exterior.  Now that we were finally doing it we wanted it done right.  

Observing house painters in our neighborhood for several years we knew that Sunrise Custom Painting (SCP) paint jobs held up well.  We were also concerned that the crew maintained a clean work area, have a cheerful spirit among crew members, and respect our house and yard.

The work crew was a tight team.  We interacted well on a daily basis.  This is important because they were part of our household for three 5-day weeks.

The SCP bid was within our expected range and the few add-ons we chose were fairly priced.  SCP was reliable, easy to communicate with and responsive.  They did what we had agreed to within our timeframe.  We highly recommend SCP for a high quality paint job.

They were great and prompt with the estimate.  Rain got their schedule backed up so they started about 2 weeks after they said they would.  But once they started they were responsive, conscientious, on time, worked 7:30 - 6:30 and generally did a great job on a house that needed a lot of prep.  They even did the door and power washing the front stoop and other things that were dirty but not painted.  Guys were polite responsive, and helpful.  You could barely tell they had been there when they were done other than the great paint job.  Very detail oriented on prep and painting.

Richard was pretty prompt initially.  pulled off job to finish another which was a surprise to us.  Back quickly when we objected.  Still waiting for copy of final invoice.

turned a horrible orange colored stucco house into a great looking light brown (Sherwin Williams and quot;Down Homeand quot;) home. Came recommended by our stucco repair guy and we are very happy with the job. Stucco requires only rolled paint (no spray) and other painters who bid tried telling me that spray was ok. Salomon knows how to paint stucco and his guys were professional, courteous and made this huge undertaking as easy as possible.

This was an awful experience. We will never have Solomon and crew back in our home.
We were working on a tight timeline before we moved into our house to have some painting done. When Solomon bid the job we let him know that he would have about a week and a half and he said it could be done. We wrote the deadline into the contract as well.
For the first week, Solomon and crew did little to no work, then finally when they were running out of time they rushed like crazy to do as much work as they could. We found huge messes every time we came by the house. They spilled paint on our hardwood floors and our countertops. We asked repeatedly for them to put down drop clothes and clean up each evening before they left for the day, but they wouldn't do it. It was written in the contract for them to clean brushes in the basement sink but they instead scratched up our nice new kitchen sink. In addition to the cleanliness issues, they also didn't do a great job painting. They left drips on floor, on paint that they didn't even touch, and they didn't clean up any of their edge work. I was left scraping floors and windows. They took an extra day to finish the terrible job that they did and I eventually had to ask them to leave because they were so behind schedule. There are parts of their contract that they didn't even complete but it was better to pay them and cut our losses than to have them messing up our house anymore than they already had.
I hope no one ever has to deal with such bad work in their home. We still two months later have work to do to fix the bad job they did.
