Andrew and crew did a great job very efficiently and finished before the rain

From beginning to end Andrew and his team were wonderful to work with. They were professional, very responsive and reasonably priced. They assisted in selecting long lasting paint colors, suggesting accents, etc. Our building is 1900's craftsman that is on the Historic Registry so quality was important. It was a very large exterior paining project. There were lots of people entering and exiting the building while they were working and they were great in working with the moving around and communication that required. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

A professional, reliable, friendly and skilled team. They fixed the mess the last painters made. (What a difference!) Definitely plan on hiring these guys again!

We were looking for a professional result and we got it. They provided help with color selection and beyond. Joe, Gabby, Eric and Jordan worked together well and made an extended interior paint job as comfortable for us as they could. Even our cat would agree. I began the process of looking for a painting crew several weeks prior to the completion of a roof and siding replacement on my home in SW Portland. I contacted six different painting companies to provide me an exterior home paint bid, including Sunn who were referred by a neighbor I reached out to Andrew and it was immediately clear he was a pro, and the project bid he provided was competitive with the other five proposals. I didn’t hesitate to commission Sunn for the project. Throughout the entire process the Sunn crew were professional, polite, knowledgeable, accommodating and enormously hard working. I was at home a good part of the week and was able to interact with them and observe their interactions with each other, and observe their work performance, and I can report unreservedly – this is an extraordinary crew! Of particular note though, Andrew is a rock star; knowledgeable (really expert level), conscientious, high attention to detail, great communicator, artistic (forget about hiring a designer, Andrew’s an artist and will guide you to the best color choices and composition), forthright, tireless, and (interestingly) humble. Best of all, the quality of work and artistic design of the finished product, is perfection! They held to the initial bid and there were no surprises, the crew attended to a few additional “fix ups” on my exterior and worked extra hard to mitigate any supplemental charges for me – very well appreciated! Also, the crew left my property in perfect order – not a scratch, bent twig, piece of debris, aimless splash of paint, nail or screw left anywhere in sight. Enormously grateful and appreciative for the care and expert quality of work they gave my home. I could not be more pleased! If you can get these guys to consider accepting your project and working you into their schedule, don’t hesitate to contract with them – you will not be disappointed!

Sunn Painting overdelivered on our house.Our house had a lot of dents and dings, the windows had some bad silicone caulk. They were cautious in their estimate and promises. In the end they made our old house look like new in a matter of days. They cleaned up each day, were reliable and affordable. I'd hire them again or recommend them to a friend.

It was a pleasure working with this company. The work was top notch, and the crew was consistent and conscientious with everything they did. They scraped and painted the exterior - the difference is amazing!

I really liked Andrew and his crew. This is helpful when lots of people are in your home! The few touch ups I asked for were addressed with no complaints. Of course it feels expensive to paint the vast majority of one's interior, but their bid was less that other companies... and it was helpful that they picked up the paint!

The Sunn Painting team was very easy to work with, and was able to start my job right away. The house was empty at the time so they masked everything and sprayed the interior walls, ceiling, and trim. The paint turned out excellent with just a couple of small details that needed touch ups. Andrew was there quickly and took care of everything. Andrew even helped me select modern color schemes that really freshened up my WWII era home. I later had the floors refinished and the overall change was remarkable. Sunn does great work, they believe in good customer service and communication, and were competitively priced. I would definitely use them again!

Andrew contacted me right away and was able to come out the next day for a bid. I inherited a home with no interior paint upgrade in over 20 years of a lifelong smoker. Andrew explained verbally and then in the contract what would be needed to prep the living/dining room, 2 small bedrooms and a hallway. The job included ceilings, 5 closets and woodwork trim and doors throughout. The woodwork was previously painted a dark brown and I wanted it changed to white. The walls needed many nail holes filled and sanded. All the doors in the hallway (5) needed to have glue sanded down where decorative paneling inserts had been removed. This was a big job and they handled it in 8 work days with 2 laborers working full time. I am over the moon about the colors Andrew helped me choose and the beautiful, crisp, clean look the house has now! Very professional team with Andrew supervising daily. Great contact through email and phone calls. I can't recommend this company enough!!!
