I submitted a request from their website, and they never replied to the request.

This is the second time that we've had Miles help us with our mortgage. Both times, we appreciated that: 1) He is prompt in returning calls / emails; it made things move very quickly! 2) He is able to do most everything via calls / emails; this has been great for our busy schedules! 3) He provided some really great advice / recommendations for how to handle our mortgage and financing needs; we've definitely benefited greatly from his suggestions! 4) He is remarkably thorough; our time was absolutely respected, and the longest part of the process was signing the 4,000 documents that the banks & government require :-)

He was very knowledgeable, sensitive to my needs and spent quite amount of time preparing the home loan refinance proposal.

The process has been pretty smooth. Miles is fabulous and extremely efficient!

It took a few days to get all the required paperwork in, during this time the mortgage broker communicated regularly. However the broker decided without running any credit check that he could help us once both my husband and I were working in stable jobs. I am a stay at home mother and get part time jobs as I feel fit. My husband is the one who works and has steady employment and is a vet. He works for the city. The broker said he'd check back monthly to see if my job situation had changed. He checked in January by email where I told him we want to purchase a house based on my husband's income. I haven't heard from him since. We now work with a different broker, who has told us what we can afford and are working with a realtor to purchase our first home, not through this company!

Complicated refi-both my wife and I have self employment income, in addition I have partnership income, and we had an friendly encounter with the IRS 6 years ago. All presented challenges. They were able to plow thrught the maze of credit issues and came up with a solution that worked for us. Although taking longer than ideal it was due to our unique circumstances -they worked on this doggedly until we were able to close last week. There were no out of pocket costs (I know this is rolled into the refinance, but is an acceptable compromise)

It's rare to find people that communicate as well as Miles and his associates. Between regular phone calls and emails I was always the one that was slowing down the process. I really needed that kind of mortgage partner, given my work travel schedule and other obligations. I was not the ideal client for Summit Mortgage. My available funds were modest and they limited my ability to find a property and make a decent down payment. Despite the obstacles, Miles was able to put a loan together for me. I'm very grateful for their professional help and am happy to offer them a solid recommendation.

Miles was knowledgeable and quickly got us refinanced through the HARP program.

Miles is very sharp, knowledgeable and responsive. He is also a hard worker. I've e-mailed him with questions during the weekend or late in the evening and received his response within minutes. I talked with three different lenders when we decided to refinance our house. His offer was the best of all three and the services he and his team provided was over the top! He delivered what he promised. I would go back to him again in the future when we sell the house.

The team at Summit was fantastic! We had less than 30 days to close on an investment property. We initially started the process with the company that had refinanced our home a few years ago and after a couple of mistakes they completely flaked out which left us scrambling a bit to find someone who could work within our short time frame. We checked around and others were concerned that they might not be able to get us financed and closed on time. Miles Rusth at Summit was confident the timeline would not be an issue and the rates he provided were the best by quite a bit. When it was all said and done, we even ended up closing about a week early! We would use them again in a heartbeat!

Hands down one of the most honest and professional mortgage companies that we have dealt with!!! Miles and Sandee are awesome. Very responsive and they give you honest answers. They helped close and fund our loan within 21 days of submitting an offer. I don't know of many other companies that can close a loan that fast in this market. In the future when we purchase real estate or refinance we will go back to Miles!

Miles at Summit Mortgage was by far the most informative, straight forward, no-nonsense mortgage broker I talked to when we went shopping around to refinance our home. Miles is an excellent salesman, he is efficient and as any good businessman should, cares about customer satisfaction. Case in point, my family went on vacation during spring break and during that period, a signing date was set and the underwriters demanded a repair. Coming back from vacation I was confronted when an unexpected repair in an extremely tight timeline. We had to extend the lock and hire a contractor to come out in short notice. Miles had promised "no closing costs" and paid for both the repair and the extension. Summit didn't have to do both, but it is clear that Miles cares about customer satisfaction. Recommended.

Miles and Sandee were so amazing. They are very honest, professional, and patient. They have incredible customer service. As a teacher, it is difficult for me to get away during the day, but they were so flexible and accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about Summit. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

Summit Mortgage is one of the preferred lenders through the Portland Housing Center. I contacted Miles via email and within 5 minutes of receiving my email, Miles contacted me via phone and set up a meeting with me for that evening. I really liked Miles approach to the mortgage lending process. He was honest and open. He answered all my questions and even hooked me up with my great real estate agent. He definitely took the fear out of the process and made everything very simple. It was such a relief to deal with someone who was looking out for me and my best interests since I was a first-time homebuyer.

Today's housing market is in shambles, from real estate to financing, but Miles & Sandee handle it all adeptly. We hit multiple roadblocks overall, but they were able to overcome each one without issue and close on the date we requested. We got a great product at a great rate.

They did very good work. They were very efficient, prompt, and very upfront about the whole process. The price was average for refinancing the house. It was a fair price but it was to be expected. For the service they provided me, it was a very good price. Their service was great and my house was refinanced in 20 days. They were quick and very responsive. I would use them again in the future.

Miles is outstanding to work with, very up front no BS. I only wish we would have know about Summit when we had started- it would have saved us a huge amount of time and effort. Long story short....if you don't have someone who knows what they are doing in this Credit Environment- Miles and Summit are the people to talk to! We started with another company before working with Miles on this short sale, all they were able to do for us was waste our time( 5 months our time!) and efforts almost to the point of losing our Dream home. By the time we were introduced to Summit/Miles we had a 2 week window to close, Miles not only got the deal done for us within that timeframe starting from scratch, but got us a super rate on an 7/1 interest only. Bottom line- we got the keys today, a great rate and an amazing home....All of this in thanks to Miles and Summit Mortgage!
