Matt (owner) has been hiring me to do work for him and out of all the GC's I work with Matt is the most receptive and fair. Straight Line Design & Remodel truly cares about the customers, I know because the management team there is constantly ensuring I do high quality and proper work to give the customer a beautiful remodel and so that it stays that way for years to come.

I interviewed 4 other contractors and selected Matt because he seemed to care most about how the changes I wanted could best be integrated into the house. He made suggestions that ended up working really well with the style and vintage of the house. We worked on plans for more than a month, meeting weekly, until every detail was determined. He provided floor plans, elevations, and 3-D drawings. He managed every detail and completed the project on time and budget.. His crew was polite, clean and on-time. I'm very very happy with the outcome - the master bath that had a cramped, single-sink vanity, mini-shower and no storage now has a double-sink vanity, soaker tub, glass-enclosed shower; the master bedroom has a wall of beautiful storage. The guest bath is no longer an outdated afterthought. New doors and woodwork gave the 40+-year-old house a "facelift."

Amazing. Matt listened to my thoughts about how to make our backyard usable, and came up with a custom designed deck that way exceeds my expectations. His bid was competitive with an estimate I got from one of those big 'fencing & deck' places for a plain, rectangular deck. But Matt's deck design was custom tailored to accommodate french doors from our kitchen and dining room, and a sloping back yard. Turned out amazingly beautiful. As my neighbor - who told me about him said, 'Matt is really an artist with wood'. Quality work. Matt & his assistant were professional, showing up on time and cleaning up afterwards. The project was completed on-time, and on-budget. Communication was great. Matt knew building codes, listened to my ideas, and kept me informed about progress. Really - Matt is everything you want when you're looking for someone to design and remodel your home. I've asked him to come back later this year for another project....I only hope word doesn't get out to the point where he gets too busy! I've got a lot of projects!
