Scheduling was a bit of an issue but once things were set up, Sean did a very good job. Sean has integrity. We had some cost adjustments as we got into the projects but his suggestions were on target and the additional expense was justified in my opinion. Everyone was very pleased with how the back deck turned out and the drywall repairs will be invisible after painting. I would definitely use him again of I need additional work done on the house.

Very professional; on time, completed the work in less than 1 week. Excellent job! The only down side was lack of full clean-up, but this was minor enough that I wouldn't think twice about hiring them again.

I have been nothing, but pleased with his work. The price is fair. I have allowed him to be lot slower than most people would be, but that is of my choosing, but I couldn't be happier with him. He is very willing to listen to what I want and how I want it done and he is very congenial and pleasant all the time. He has had some frustrations from the electrician that he uses, but that hasn't been his fault.

Sean is a friendly guy to deal with. By the way he works you can tell that he knows what he is doing. He came on time and kept the rest of the house reasonably clean. I am happy with the result. If you don't know where the line between old and new is you don't notice.

Skyline Contracting did an excellent job for us on a recent basement project in a vintage home which included two complex egress window installations. We found them to be reliable, accurate, and reasonably priced. As the home was built in 1911, there were some unexpected challenges to figure out and we found this contractor to be very receptive and cooperative to make everything perfect throughout the project. We can highly recommend Skyline Contracting and would work with them again.

They were on time, did an exceptional job and cleaned up their mess when finished.  The concrete cutters made a mess and it looked like the sub floor would have to be replaced and Skyline volunteered to replace the floor with no complaints.  It turned out that it wasn't required but its good to know they stood behind their commitment anyway.

They did a good job.  They didn't, however, do everything that they were contracted to do.  It was a small thing, but I did feel that they had a responsibility to complete the work.  They were always there when they said they would be and were very polite and professional.  I would definitely use him again.
Response from SKYLINE CONTRACTING LLC
"The painter wanted us to come back and put some trim up to block gap at bird blocks after the fact and told the customer I would be over to do that, I try really hard to make sure everyone is taken care of and this one must have gotten away from me. I would love to come and do that for him. Verry sorry to the customer. It was a pleasure to work for him."

Sean, was very prompt in returning my inquiry and setting up an appointment that was convenient for me, in order to do the estimate.
He was professional, personable, and knew exactly what to look for. He struck up a rapport right away; so much so that I did some phone inquiries, and selected his bid right away. He acted like he wanted to help out.
The sheetrock was hung precise, tape and mud were clean, and there was minimal overspray with texture.  He even went around the house and ended up patch-repairing 3 extra holes.  He cleaned up well behind himself, and was able to wait my schedule out so I could cut him a check. It was a good experience, and will call on him again.

Sean, company president, of Skyline Construction arrived just an hour after I contacted him.  He was highly recommended by my paint contractor.  Sean is low-key, very experienced, and exceptionally nice to work with.  Some decorative wood beams that attach to my roof line were rotting from years of sitting in the rain.  I had thought they would just need to be sawed off, but Sean was able to design an identical structure that could be mounted after the rotted sections were removed.  There were 14 of these.  Sean built them at home and then came back to remove the old and put up the new ones.  I am so happy with the way the project turned out, and that I still have the original look of my home's design.  The paint contractor even remarked at how well the job had been done.  Sean is low-key, honest, very experienced, and exceptionally nice to work with.   I would definitely contact Sean again for future construction projects.

Even though I was told that is is very hard to match texture, I decided to try it anyway.  Skyline arrived when they said they would and  went straight to work.  They covered everything very well and did a great job on the ceiling.  Also, because we were replacing the  cabinets, the walls needed repair and texture.  They did all of that at no extra charge and it turned out great.  I was going to have the cabinet installer do the work, but that was going to be an additional charge that I was glad I didn't have to pay, and the installer was glad he didn't have to do it.

Sean gave us an accurate estimate and finished the job on time and within budget. Our house is challenging to work on and Sean offered unique solutions to a tricky basement space.

They were fantastic! They provided accurate estimates. They had really good communication. They were thorough and offered workable solutions, because we had a tricky basement. They were on time and budget. They also met with the permit instructors, and that was very helpful. We will be using them again.

The initial estimate was higher than insurance coverage, but Sean lowered the price a bit which was nice (although still more than insurance coverage - but so were the other bids). The dry wall work itself and the floor work were done well and in a timely manner. However, the area was left a mess. Dry wall had been cut directly on the hall carpet (which is old and dirty, but still looked much worse after they left). Sean did come clean the carpet the next week when this was mentioned. The dry wall on the walls looked good, but texturing was in the light fixtures, on the door handle & door, on the new dryer. The guy who was doing the work left both days without letting me know he was leaving and without closing my back door or the back gait. So, the house was open to the street for at least an hour before I realized he was gone. I mentioned this to Sean the first day so was surprised when it happened again the second day. While the actual work was good, the experience was not and I will not hire this company again

Sean did a great job. He was available on short notice, showed up on time and worked focused on the windows. He filled out some areas with mortar, set the windows and added the trim.

Sean was very responsive and professional, even while doing almost all the work himself. We had a specific window provider we wanted to work with, and Sean went out of his way to meet with us and our sales rep to ensure we were all on the same page. The quality of the work is outstanding, and Sean's price was measurably lower than the two other bids we received. It was a great experience and we will definitely call him again if we decide to add more egress windows or replace other windows in the home.

We had a number of projects, none of them too large, as detailed above. Sean was more than willing to help us out with whatever we needed. These "little jobs" actually required a lot of work. For example, installing the tile floor off the the kitchen required that he rip out the previous flooring, find the exact tile, and then lay it in a tricky little space. This required a lot of cutting of the tile and creativity to make the area look good. He did a wonderful job. His overall level of service and quality of work was excellent. What I was most impressed with , however, is how he treated my wife. She had a number of concerns along the way which he handled extremely well. She was worried how the tile would look on the stairs, so he came over on a Saturday to lay the tile out so she could see the pattern before he attached it to the floor. That made a huge difference in our satisfaction with the job. I would recommend him highly and will use Sean again in the future.

Sean went above and beyond our expectations. We live 1,000 miles from this job site and with only our real estate agent and kind neighbors to occasionally keep an eye on things, we knew we would be taking a leap of faith with our contactor. Sean began the job right away and finish on time and within budget. He was great at communicating with us and was a complete pleasure to work with. I can't say enough good things about him!
