Rex is easy to work with and was always available when I needed him. In order to make an offer on my ideal house, he must have stayed up much of the night  preparing the paperwork so that I was ready to make the offer the next morning. Best of all, he knew how the bidding would go and advised me on the amount to offer, which got me the house (which was on the market and had 18 showings in only a day and a half...a very competitive market!) Rex's office set up all the necessary inspections and did all the paperwork promptly. It was a very smooth transaction, and I am so happy with my house!

Rex and his team were a *dream* to work with.  We came across Rex after my husband already had sold his house, when we found our dream house and wanted an A-1 negotiator on our side to help us make the best possible offers! He called in his amazing team of inspectors and subs to ensure the home we were making an offer on didn't have any sudden or hidden issues that wouldn't be addressed. We were able to work with Rex to review all his findings and to get his insight, which became invaluable. We were able to counter and buy our dream house at a significantly below asking price, but which was more in alignment with the neighborhood and economic trends/values. After buying our dream home in June, Rex then helped me to sell my old house in August. This past spring 2013 with the sudden rise in home prices and low inventory you can imagine the difficulty we had in setting just the right price for the home. My home had some unique qualities that could be hard to value (an over 180 degree view of the river, 2 mountains and east side) while wishing to still be competitive. Rex came up with a brilliant solution to help us discover the perfect sales price, which led to multiple offers and a closed home sale in just 2 month's time! He thinks outside of the box and isn't a cut and paste deal realtor. He tailored our deals specifically and uniquely to us. 
The best compliment we could give Rex is this: We wished we met you BEFORE my husband sold his house in March! We had a horrible experience with my husband's realtor, who only seemed to have her own best interests in mind when negotiating the home price and negotiating the inspection fixes. We felt she only wanted to close the deal to get her money.

Rex is an amazing Real Estate agent.  Transitioning from one home in Washington to another in Oregon was extremely stressful.  Seemed like nothing was going according to schedule.  While Rex could not handle things in Washington, he was on top of everything on the Oregon side.  He made himself available whenever he was needed even AFTER the offer was accepted.  His staff was extremely professional and efficient.  I have never had such exceptional customer service!!  I would definitely recommend Rex.

Rex and his team were worth every single penny that they earned.  I know every situation is different, but in our case he timed it all just right so that we had cash buyers( full price) and never even had to officially list the property. I think he is exceptionally good at negotiating but I also want to emphasize how easy his team made the selling process. The majority of the documents were signed via DocuSign on my smart phone. When it came time for the negotiated home improvements, Andi arranged (with our permission of course) all of the contractors and the payment for their services. I always felt we were in good hands and found them very accessible any time I had questions about the selling process. I'm personally done with being a home owner but if I were to do it again, Rex would be my man.

Rex and his team were awesome!  They were always available throughout our home buying process to answer the many questions we had.  We bought a new construction house and some of our friends asked why we were using a real estate agent for the transaction when the builder was there to help us - they have all the forms, etc.  We believed we still needed someone to guide us thru the process and we were right!  There were so many things Rex pointed out and suggested to us for our protection that we wouldn't have done nor would the builder have been looking out for our best interest.  When Rex had some vacation time scheduled during our transaction, he made sure to let us know in advance and to make sure his team and us were staying on track with our transaction and getting it done.  Stephanie and Pam were amazing - they followed up with us on every single detail while Rex was away.  I could not be happier with the level of professional service we received!

He was great. He identified my needs, and he was really good at connecting me with the right vendors and making everything happen within 48 hours. His resourcefulness and utilities were great. He had put my condo on the market and sold it within 48 hours.

Rex is an incredible real estate agent. Considering we didn't have a high budget we were worried that an agent might not really take care of us but Rex relieved all those fears. With how responsive, professional, and just flat out involved he was you'd have thought we were buying a million dollar house! I mean what agent goes and looks at two houses with you on his way to a Superbowl party? The best one, of course! When looking at homes, Rex's architectural background helped us to visualize the potential in homes, but he was conscious of us being first-time homebuyers and wanted to make sure we wouldn't get in over our head. I'm high maintenance and needed a lot of correspondence to figure out where things were and Rex was always available. He even managed a highly unprofessional and unkind selling agent, and shielded us from extra stress in our homebuying process. I've already referred my friends to him and I won't go to another agent here in Portland. Sorry Rex, for as long as you're here, you're stuck with us!

Rex met with me for more than 2 hours for an initial consult, during which time he carefully listened to my concerns and took copious notes. He and his team worked with me to procure the necessary stagers, handymen, etc. to get the condo in selling shape. Furthermore, Rex's architectural skills were a wonderful asset - as he proposed his own ideas for making the condo "pop" and stand out to sellers. He was able to articulate his ideas, suggest retail locations where I could buy needed items, and even draw schematics for handymen / electricians/ etc. to follow. Rex and his team were excellent with communication, prompt call / email follow-up, and efficiency.

Rex was on it! He met me at the house immediately after I called him. He went through the whole house with me, suggested a house inspector to call, got the roof, electrical, and plumbing experts out, got the price down, and got the seller to pay all the closing costs! I was nervous and anxious and he was calm and cheerful and I really came to admire his expertise in all aspects of closing the deal.

I couldn't be happier with the service Rex provided. His negotiation skills were excellent, and like I mentioned above, we got buyers in a terrible market and were able to get almost exactly our asking price even after some serious problems were found in the inspection. Rex is a go-getter and he puts his all into a sale. More importantly, I knew I could trust him with looking out for my interests in one of the hugest, most nerve-wracking transactions I've ever dealt with.
