The task: to take a garage-full of sheetrock-dusted boxes of belongings -- 1000+ books, office and art supplies, and every kind of belonging, home product, and knickknackery -- and organize / transplant it all to newly remodeled rooms.
From our first overview of the project to our last meeting, MaryJo brought a clear, calm, focused, and insightful energy to each conversation. She made very clear what she would and could not do, and understood what was realistic about the scope of each phase (four sessions), which turned out to be accurate. She replied to emails promptly, showed up on time, always came with predictably required supplies (unlike others in my experience, who've needed on-the-clock shopping trips), finished each session exactly as she'd said, and did it all with a combination of amazing efficiency and a seeming ease and lightness of touch.
She and her matchless cohort, Maia, not only did this work, they did it intelligently and beautifully. Books were thoughtfully categorized and labeled. Garage storage was reconfigured similarly. Stuff was hauled away or recycled.
Both MaryJo and Maia are professional in every sense. Every time I look at the bookshelves or the garage storage I am grateful for their skill. I was at my wit's end after an arduous remodel process, and they truly saved my sanity.
I look forward to working with MaryJo on the lower-priority phase of this project in the months to come, and hope to rely on her/them for other projects in the future.
