He was very thorough, approachable and had a very detailed report. He took time to answer our questions and gave recommendations on what were priority issues. We were very pleased with his service and we would highly recommend him.

I though Red Dog did a great job of thoroughly inspecting the home and conducting the radon test. The house was built in 1894 and has been renovated. it's great shape in general so the inspection showed few issues. Some of the issues raised in the report were a bit unusual such as they noted a window along the stairs between the first and second floor was not tempered glass. The window sits about 6 ft up along the stairway wall. You can't reach it even as an adult. Why would this need to be tempered glass? Also when did a walk around on the house with the inspector after he did his inspection I told him a story from the previous home owner about a drain pipe that leaked around the edge where it intersected with the roof. The porch roof and porch had since been renovated by the previous owner so there had not been any leaking in 6 years. For some reason this ended up in my inspection report. the problem had been solved and inspector would not have even known about except I told him. Very unusual practice in my opinion.

I was referred to Paul by my realtor and had checked all applicable license information on the web prior to our appointment. Paul arrived exactly on time and began setting up to inspect. I was on hand as was my realtor. As soon as he arrived on property he started taking relevant pictures in this case the overall property picture. After parking (and introductions) he began inspecting the exterior of the house and taking pictures where needed. He was very accommodating to my questions as I walked with him. After exterior ground level he grabbed his ladder and proceeded to check the roof and upper exterior walls. He would talk to me about the minor deficiencies and take pictures of any major ones. When exterior inspection was complete, he set up his laptop inside and made notes about what he had seen outside. He then began to inspect the interior on a room by room basis periodically adding notes to laptop. Again very accommodating, allowing me to shadow and answering questions as they arose. After the exterior he proceeded to the crawl space, both access points and again informed me of any minor deficiencies and taking pictures of any major ones. After the inspection he entered all the pertinent data into his laptop and the inspection was complete. Later that same evening I received via email my home report which was very clear, detailed and thorough. Any questions I had about the report were quickly answered (of which there weren't many - only one which was more a format issue than anything related to the relevant parts of the report). Overall I was very satisfied with the inspection my house received and would work again with Paul if I needed to have another house inspected.

As stated above, he did a terrific job. He brings experience and professionalism helpful to me in the stressful house buying process.
