There is another contractor that came and I was kind of disappointed because he kind of looked at the job and told me that he would get back to me, and he never did. They didn't follow up. I e-mailed them. I was pretty excited about things, and I never heard back from them. They never gave me a bid.

It went well! We were very pleased with his work and commitment.

He should be getting back to us on doing some work in our basement; however, the last we heard from him was in 2013.

I am very satisfied with the work outcome.  It was a very big job that was started before i moved in.
Have many compliments on the work and especially he fence (corrugated metal)

 and carport.
Trustworthy.  Some communication slow.

It looks really good. Everyone comments on it. It looks great. It has held up well over the past 2 1/2 years. They did it in a timely manner. It is an unusual galvanized fence. I was worried that it wouldn't look good but it looks great.

Ray has a great eye for detail and is dedicated to getting every aspect of the job just right. He's also a nice guy, and easy to have around. He installed a new floor of 1-inch ceramic hex tile with a black border. It was somewhat painstaking work, and Ray made sure that all the tiles were aligned just perfectly--even if it meant pulling up a section and starting over. The subway tile is laid with equal precision. He is not the kind of person to skimp or take shortcuts. He contributes not only skill and craftsmanship but also a keen sense of design. He is very knowledgeable and professional. We love our new bathroom and will work with Ray on our future projects, too.

Ray has worked on my rentals now for a year and a half and soon he will start a project in my house. He has done quite large jobs and small ones as well. His work is both elegant and economical. He is down-to-earth and pleasant to work with. I originally found him in Angie's list and feel fortunate that I did.

He removed what was already existing and put in an island. It took him two visits to complete the job, around 8 hours. I would hire them again if needed.

I found Ray on Angies List while looking for a contractor to help me get 2 new houses ready to rent. It's been a big job and Ray took care of many many things, large and small. He is pleasant to work with and dependable, so much so that I am a little reluctant to write this report about him because he might become so busy.

Words can't do justice to the job Ray and his crew did, we were in need of some trim work and replacement of all interior doors, all while we were in the process of putting our home up for sale and with a two year old who naps during the day. Oh we needed our work done right away and completed within 5 days. RAY DID IT!! He was far and away the most fair, respected, hard working contractor I have ever worked with and I have worked with plenty in the my business as a heatingand cooling equipment rep. I would hire him again in a heart beat.. thanks Ray!!

All work done superbly, the majority of it by Ray's son Jeff Wilson, who met his own standard of excellence which was as high or higher than what I would imagine the most picky homeowner to expect. A lot of creativity and artistic skill and good taste were brought to bear on every aspect of the project. Both Ray and Jeff were easygoing, well-tempered, and good-humored at all times. Pricing on almost everything bid was extremely reasonable, especially considering the extent they went to fine-tune everything, when they could have gotten away with less and still been well within the contract. We've already hired them for another job, replacing three windows. probably should note that add-on work, not particularly specified in the bare estimate, was undertaken very willingly but without any indication as to whether it would result in add-on costs, which some did. Also, the job took a long time because work weeks were light--but we were able to afford the time and it was worth it.

Ray came over, looked at the job and we set up an appointment for him to come and fix it the next day or so. He took care of it while I was at work (tightened the faucet, replaced a bunch of pipes and installed a new garbage disposal. Everthing is working just fine now, and I am happy!

We were having a lot of trouble finding available contractors to put our stairs in, and had more than a few make promises to begin work, and then cancel at the last minute. The two contractors who were available wanted to charge quite a bit for what seemed to be a relatively simple job. We were under a time crunch to get this work done. Ray was busy, but he was able to fit our relatively small job into his packed schedule. He couldn't be beat on the price, he was very easy to work with, and on top of that, a real nice guy. The stairs looked great, he was flexible with us being gone for a portion of the job, and he worked at a fast pace. No complaints - we'd love to have Ray do more work for us in the future.

Ray teamed up with another contractor and did a stunning job. Great attention to period detail, great quality of work. Ray is highly knowledgeable but always open to learning new ways to do things. He was personally involved on every level, from demolition, through construction phase and finish work. He also has good contacts for subcontractors. He's great at his work and is also a quality human being.

Mr. Wilson was able to complete my job while busy with other work. He helped me decide the best way to recreate a bedroom and did so within my budget. He also showed a great respect for my homes integrity by using period-appropriate materials and workmanship.

TOTALLY ACCOMMODATING TO MY SCHEDULE, WORKED IN A TIMELY MANNER, DID A GREAT JOB. THE KITCHEN WORKS WELL & LOOKS GREAT. VERY POLITE, TRUSTWORTHY & THOUGHTFUL. GOOD SUGGESTIONS WHEN NEEDED & ALWAYS ANSWERED CALLS. REASONABLE PRICES AND ABOVE & BEYOND WORKMANSHIP.

RAY IS RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, AND DOES GREAT WORK. WE WILL DEFINITELY WORK WITH HIM ON OUR NEXT PROJECT!
